The Holy Knights of God, sometimes called God’s Knights, are key figures in the final part of the One Piece story. Serving Saint Imu Nerona, the main villain, they have amazing abilities, including great strength and the ability to live forever. They’re important to the story from the Elbaf arc onwards and will continue to be. Despite their immense power, they aren’t the strongest characters in the One Piece world, and many top fighters could defeat them.
Sanji
Sanji is the chef of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of Luffy’s most trusted fighters. He’s a remarkably strong pirate, considered among the best in the world. During the Elbaf arc of One Piece, Sanji effortlessly defeated St. Killingham, a member of the Holy Knights, shocking many fans. Sanji even dismissed Killingham as being too weak, suggesting he’s capable of defeating even more powerful members of the Holy Knights if he encounters them.
Zoro
Although Zoro hasn’t battled any of the Holy Knights yet in the Elbaf Arc, considering Sanji’s ability to defeat one, it’s clear Zoro is equally capable of winning. Zoro’s use of Conqueror’s Haki would be particularly effective against them, as it disrupts their regeneration and could even destroy them. It’s expected that Zoro will eventually face the Holy Knights and decisively defeat them.
Rayleigh/Gaban
Rayleigh and Gaban are incredibly strong characters in One Piece, often compared to the Yonko in terms of power. Despite their advanced age, they remain immensely powerful, mastering all three types of Haki. Their greatest strength lies in their highly developed Conqueror’s Haki, which poses a significant threat to the Holy Knights.
Gaban defeated Saint Sommers in a fight on Elbaf, winning without much difficulty. Likewise, during the God Valley incident, Rayleigh also fought and decisively beat Sommers. Because of these feats, both Gaban and Rayleigh are far stronger than most of the Holy Knights – only Shamrock poses a comparable threat to their power.
Dracule Mihawk
Dracula Mihawk is widely considered the world’s greatest swordsman and plays a key role in the story’s final arc. He’s currently a leader in the Cross Guild, and his power rivals that of the most powerful pirates, known as the Yonko. Mihawk is incredibly skilled with a sword and has mastered advanced techniques like Haki. He would easily defeat opponents like Sommers and most of the other Knights without much difficulty.
Loki
Loki is an incredibly powerful character in One Piece, largely due to his lineage – he’s descended from the Ancient Giants through Harald and is considered the reincarnation of the God of War from Elbaf. He possesses the powers of the Nidhogg Devil Fruit and also fights with the weapon Ragnir.
Combining these abilities makes Loki a world-threatening force, setting him apart from others. He’s already proven his strength by defeating St. Sommers and, more impressively, his own father, King Harald – currently the strongest Holy Knight we’ve seen. This means he can easily overcome any Holy Knight he faces.
Five Elders
The Five Elders are among the most influential people in the world of One Piece. They hold a higher authority than even the Holy Knights, as their agreement with Imu surpasses the Holy Knights’ Deep Sea Covenant. This also means the Five Elders are more powerful and hold a higher rank within the World Government.
The Five Elders, like immortals, don’t age and can regenerate. They also possess unique yokai abilities, unlike the Holy Knights. What’s more, they all appear to be masters of Conqueror’s Haki, making them significantly more powerful than their Holy Knight counterparts.
Monkey D. Dragon
As a huge One Piece fan, I’m completely blown away by Dragon! He’s seriously one of the most powerful characters in the entire series. Not only does he have a Devil Fruit ability that’s still a mystery, but he’s also a master of Haki. Honestly, his strength puts him right up there with the top tiers, and considering he’s known about the Holy Knights for ages, I’m confident he could take them down. It’s not just him either – even his subordinates are strong enough to defeat them, which just proves how incredibly powerful Dragon truly is!

The Four Emperors
The Four Emperors are the strongest pirates in the world of One Piece. Currently, they are Luffy, Blackbeard, Shanks, and Buggy. Buggy became an Emperor due to a misunderstanding, but generally, any true Emperor is powerful enough to defeat one or more of the Holy Knights.
Shanks, Luffy, and Blackbeard are all powerful enough to defeat most of these Knights with ease. Even Kaido and Big Mom would be incredibly strong compared to multiple Knights. These characters possess immense power, particularly in Haki and Devil Fruit abilities, making them almost unmatched in the One Piece world.
Imu
Imu is the ruler of the world in One Piece and is considered one of the most powerful beings ever known. The Holy Knights and the Five Elders both receive their abilities from Imu, indicating that Imu is far more powerful than any of them.
Rumor has it that anyone who makes a deal with Imu loses control of their own body and becomes a puppet. This means the Holy Knights and even the Five Elders are all controlled by Imu and can’t act against their will. Furthermore, Imu is far more powerful than any Holy Knight we’ve seen in the One Piece world.
