The first part of the show will begin airing on April 5, 2026, and will have 13 episodes. After that, there will be a break before the second part starts.

The One Piece anime will be adapting one chapter of the manga per episode. While the speed at which the story moves isn’t perfect, it’s a significant improvement over how the anime handled pacing in the past.

Maintaining this pace will help keep the anime and manga storylines separated. If the anime overtook the manga, it would create problems, potentially forcing the anime to pause production for a significant amount of time while the manga gets ahead again.

One Piece’s Elbaf arc will be available to watch on Crunchyroll.
