Boa Hancock leads the Kuja Pirates and is a remarkably powerful fighter in the world of One Piece. The Kuja tribe itself is among the strongest in the world, renowned for their mastery of Haki. They highly value strength, believing it’s the most important quality, and interestingly, they also consider strength to be a measure of beauty – the stronger someone is, the more beautiful they are seen to be.
I’ve observed that as the Empress of Amazon Lily, Boa Hancock is widely considered the most beautiful woman there. She’s incredibly skilled with Haki, but it’s her Devil Fruit, the Mero Mero no Mi, that really makes her a formidable opponent. It’s a seriously powerful fruit, and as far as anyone knows, there are only a couple of ways to avoid its effects. Still, even with all that power, there are other Devil Fruits in the One Piece world that could go toe-to-toe with it.

Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika

The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is a powerful and incredibly rare Devil Fruit of the Mythical Zoan type. Monkey D. Luffy currently possesses it, but it originally belonged to Joyboy, a legendary pirate from the past. Because of its significance and history, the World Government has been actively working to conceal the truth about this fruit.
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is a powerful Devil Fruit that lets the user transform into the Sun God, a legendary figure known for freeing people from oppression. When transformed, the user’s body becomes incredibly flexible and rubber-like, and they can also make objects around them springy and bouncy.
Yami Yami no Mi

Blackbeard currently possesses the Yami Yami no Mi, making him a formidable captain. This power originally belonged to Thatch, but Blackbeard killed him to steal it. Blackbeard understood the immense destructive potential of the fruit, which led him to even oppose Whitebeard to obtain it.
The Yami Yami no Mi is unique because it can completely cancel out the abilities of other Devil Fruits. This is incredibly useful, as it doesn’t require the user to rely on Haki. Beyond that, it also lets the user generate and manipulate darkness. They can use this darkness to trap and defeat opponents easily. Considering its abilities, the Yami Yami no Mi is arguably as powerful as Boa Hancock’s Mero Mero no Mi.
Ope Ope no Mi

Doflamingo famously called the Ope Ope no Mi the “Ultimate Devil Fruit,” and it’s easy to see why. It offers an incredibly powerful combination of offense and defense, making its user exceptionally difficult to defeat, particularly if they’ve fully unlocked its potential.

The Ope Ope no Mi grants its user incredible surgical skills, allowing them to perform complex medical procedures with ease. This ability also allows for self-healing from any injury. Beyond healing, the fruit can inflict devastating internal injuries on opponents, bringing them close to death. Furthermore, the user can create a special ‘ROOM’ where they can swap the positions of objects or even people.
Gura Gura no Mi

The Gura Gura no Mi originally belonged to Whitebeard, who was known as the strongest man in the world. After Whitebeard died, Blackbeard stole the fruit, proving his cunning and foresight. The Gura Gura no Mi is an incredibly powerful Devil Fruit that allows its user to cause massive destruction, even wiping out entire islands. At sea, a single attack can create huge tidal waves capable of destroying a whole fleet of ships. Beyond its destructive capabilities, the fruit can also be used defensively to block attacks and inflict damage in close combat.
Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhöggr

The Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhöggr is a powerful Devil Fruit recently featured in the Elbaf arc. It’s considered a national treasure of Elbaf, once used by a legendary Warrior God. After the god’s death, Ragnir guarded the fruit, preventing anyone from eating it. That changed when Loki attempted to consume it, and he immediately became one of the strongest fighters in the world of One Piece.
I’ve heard about the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhöggr, and it’s pretty incredible. It lets the user transform into Nidhöggr, a massive dragon capable of blasting lightning from its mouth. Beyond that, it also significantly boosts their strength and speed, making them a really tough opponent in a fight.
