One Piece Episode 1157 Preview: Nami And Usopp Under Attack

The One Piece anime is back after a break with a particularly impressive episode. It was split into three parts, each showing what one of the Four Emperors (Yonko) is up to. We saw Shanks arrive at Garter Island and encounter the Barto Club. This crew had previously shot down a flag belonging to Shanks’ Red Hair Pirates, which was seen as an insult, and Shanks needed to address it.

A brutal fight left Bartolomeo and his crew badly injured. Things went from bad to worse when one of Shanks’s men tried to force Bartolomeo to poison Luffy. Loyal to Luffy, Bartolomeo ate the poison himself. It turned out Shanks was simply testing Bartolomeo’s dedication, and they were eventually released. However, Yasopp wasn’t willing to let them leave without a final message – he destroyed their ship, leaving the fate of Barto Club uncertain. This incident showed a different side of Shanks, revealing that despite his cheerful nature, he’s willing to take serious action when necessary.

Blackbeard Is Back In Hachinosu

Okay, so Episode 1156 was insane! Blackbeard finally got back to Hachinosu after grabbing Law’s Road Poneglyphs, and he was just waiting for Law to show up so he could take him down – which he did, pretty decisively! But get this, when Blackbeard got back to Hachinosu, Koby and Moria had escaped! He was absolutely livid, but Kuzan calmed him down, revealing they’d managed to capture someone even more valuable: Monkey D. Garp! Can you believe it? This is getting so intense!

Blackbeard understood Kuzan’s point: Garp was far more well-known and respected within the Marines than Koby. If one of the Four Emperors offered Garp as a trade, the World Government would almost certainly accept the deal. Meanwhile, the episode also revealed that Catarina Devon, Caribou, and Van Augur have arrived at Hachinosu Island. These three were previously on Egghead Island, which became the site of a massive fight between the Five Elders and the Straw Hat Pirates.

One Piece Episode 1157 Will Reveal The Fate Of The Thousand Sunny

At the close of One Piece episode 1157, the Thousand Sunny disappeared, and most of the crew was nowhere to be found. Brook, Robin, Jimbei, Franky, and Lilith ended up on the ship of the Giant Warrior Pirates, but the others were missing. The preview for episode 1158 showed Nami and Usopp waking up in a strange, block-filled location, where they seem to be in danger and need to be cautious.

We don’t know where the Straw Hat pirates are right now, but the next episode should give us some clues. It’s possible they didn’t end up on Elbaf as originally expected. Since everyone on the Thousand Sunny was unconscious, someone could have easily taken them to a different location. The big mystery is, where did they end up?

The latest episode preview featured Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji preparing for a fight. It seems the Monster Trio is heading after the creature that’s been pursuing Nami and Usopp. Given that Nami and Usopp aren’t the crew’s strongest fighters, their chances of survival against such a dangerous monster are slim.

In Episode 1157, the Straw Hat crew members who are currently with the Giant Warrior Pirates are expected to arrive in Elbaf. Because the Giants are familiar with all the routes, they won’t get lost along the way.
