Over the years, his growth as a character has been nothing short of extraordinary, with each arc adding new layers to his already complex persona.

In the world of One Piece, it’s interesting to note that Sanji didn’t earn his bounty until after the Enies Lobby incident. This fact surprised the members of CP9 during their arc, as they found themselves admiring Sanji even though he lacked a bounty at the time. In fact, Kaku, one of CP9 members, acknowledged that Sanji’s strength within the Straw Hat crew was significant enough to be worthy of praise, despite not having a bounty on his head yet.

Sanji lacked a bounty initially due to his stealthy missions and less recognized past compared to Luffy and Zoro. However, once Luffy’s crew exposed CP9, Sanji’s strength became public knowledge. His first-ever bounty was an astonishing 77 million berries, making it quite sensational in comparison to his shipmates’ initial bounties. Specifically, while Zoro started at 60 million berries, Sanji’s starting point was significantly higher at 77 million berries. Considering the ease with which he defeated Jabra during Enies Lobby and his potential for further combat, many would argue that Sanji’s bounty should have been even more elevated after those events.

Consequentially, he amassed an extremely large bounty following these occurrences, elevating his reward to a whopping 330 million berries. At that moment, this was 10 million more than Zoro’s bounty, making him the second most sought-after Straw Hat Pirate prior to the Wano events.

In terms of combat, on Onigashima, Sanji was nothing short of formidable. He saved Wano’s future by rescuing Momonosuke, and he even defeated the heavily damaged Queen the Plague. Despite being severely injured, he managed to showcase his incredible strength. As a result, Oda assigned Sanji a new bounty after these events.

In this storyline, Sanji’s newly activated abilities catapulted him to an unprecedented tier. After effortlessly defeating Queen, it was only fitting that a substantial bounty be placed on him. His new bounty soared to a staggering 1.032 billion berries, yet this figure barely scratches the surface of his real value to the crew.
