Upon unveiling the sneak peek for One Piece Episode 1127, enthusiasts immediately sensed its greatness ahead. Yet, what left them utterly surprised were the intense action scenes reminiscent of a blockbuster film.
The Straw Hats Vs. Kizaru Is One Of The Most Important Fights In One Piece

Over the past few episodes, the tension has been mounting towards a confrontation between Luffy and Kizaru. These two characters have history together, having crossed paths before. On Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy was publicly humiliated by the Admiral, an incident that left him feeling helpless. This emotional state led Luffy to throw himself wholeheartedly into training, as he didn’t want to relive that painful experience.
As soon as Luffy felt Kizaru nearby, he quickly sprang into action to challenge the Admiral. He aimed to convey that the Straw Hat crew were no longer pushovers and had significantly amplified their strength by a factor of 100. Given their past encounters, it’s not surprising that Luffy was keen on taking on Kizaru. The battle commenced with Luffy transforming into Gear 4 Snakeman, an excellent strategy considering its speed. Initially, Luffy’s attacks caused Kizaru some difficulty, but it didn’t take the Admiral long to grasp his attack patterns. In the end, Kizaru managed to send Luffy flying and crashing into a protective barrier.
Luffy Vs. Kizaru Was A Spectacle
Toei Animation Once Again Surpassed Fans’ Expectations

Initially, some spectators felt let down by Luffy’s performance, but it was clear that the protagonist was restraining himself. His collision with the barrier seemed to have made Luffy understand he couldn’t be casual, leading him to unleash Gear 5th, grab Kizaru, and toss him aside.
In a state of bewilderment, the Admiral found his composure and employed his Devil Fruit ability to steer clear of the water mass. Kizaru made an impressive exit, utilizing the Pika Pika no Mi to spawn numerous copies of himself, instigating attacks on Luffy. For a brief instant, even Luffy mistook them for Perona’s Hollows. These clones acted independently without any specific instructions from Kizaru and seemed resistant to Luffy’s Armament Haki.
Among the replicas, one succeeded in inflicting a gash on Luffy’s cheek, demonstrating their immense strength. However, as these duplicates began to pose a challenge for Luffy, he retaliated with a Dawn Stamp, eliminating them all.
The Final Phase Of The Fight Is Starting
- Luffy and Kizaru will likely end their fight soon
- Zoro and Lucci are not holding back
The scene concluded as Kizaru aimed to strike Vegapunk, but Luffy stepped in to prevent it. This action enabled Vegapunk to escape Labophase and take control over the Pacifista units. With the Pacifista now opposing the Marines, the balance has once again shifted towards our heroes.
If Luffy doesn’t defeat Kizaru swiftly, all efforts will be in vain. He understands that time is running short, and if he continues to prolong the fight, things might worsen. It’s not a matter of whether Luffy can beat Kizaru, but rather how long he will continue this game. Kizaru might have caught on to this as well, which could explain why he changed his strategy during the battle.

Besides Kizaru and Luffy’s confrontation, another significant battle is unfolding on Egghead Island, featuring Zoro and Lucci. So far, Zoro has managed to keep pace with Lucci, but he should stay vigilant because Lucci has a tendency to strike when his adversary’s defenses are weak. Both combatants have been giving it their all, as demonstrated by their intense skirmish. Zoro is employing the King of Hell, his most potent move. On the other hand, Lucci is utilizing his Devil Fruit Awakening, which boosts his physical power substantially. Given their evenly matched abilities, this fight could drag on for some time.
