This post contains spoilers for One Piece.

Summary

  • One Piece episode 1127 pays homage to Naruto‘s Shadow Clone jutsu with Kizaru’s clones.
  • Luffy and Kizaru’s intense fight against each other continues in episode 1127.
  • Luffy must end the fight quickly against Kizaru, a formidable opponent armed with deadly abilities.

For years, I’ve witnessed a unique camaraderie between Eiichiro Oda and Masashi Kishimoto, despite being considered rivals. They both have held the limelight in Weekly Shonen Jump for an extended period, showcasing their unparalleled storytelling prowess. Their mangas were among the most popular, a testament to the immense affection fans had for them. Naruto concluded its run in 2014, yet One Piece continues to sail on.

Following the end of Naruto, Oda created a unique artwork celebrating the series finale. Yet, the admiration doesn’t cease at this point.

One Piece Pays Tribute To Naruto

I found an intriguing nod to the famous Shadow Clone jutsu from Naruto in One Piece Episode 1127. The character Kizaru, using his Pika Pika no Mi, conjured up multiple copies of himself. Although these clones might not mirror Naruto Uzumaki’s in terms of power distribution, they certainly possess an undeniable strength that shouldn’t be underestimated.

It appears that Kizaru has employed this strategy before, given his impressive synchronization with the clones. Combined, they successfully dazzled Luffy, an expert in Advanced Observation Haki. In truth, during this specific maneuver, Luffy struggled to land a solid blow on Kizaru.

Luffy Saves Vegapunk’s Life Again

It was anticipated that the fight between Luffy and Kizaru would conclude in Episode 1127, but it didn’t. Instead, both combatants gave their all, yet neither managed a knockout punch. As the episode neared its end, even Kizaru altered his objectives. The Admiral opted to chase after and kill Vegapunk rather than continuing the fight with Luffy.

Kizaru made a strategic retreat since he understood that defeating Luffy would require time. He returned inside the building to find Vegapunk, but the scientist had already fled to safeguard Bonney from the Marines. Meanwhile, Stella, Atlas, and Sanji were traveling together in a vehicle. Kizaru quickly found and targeted the vehicle with an attack, but Luffy stepped in to protect Vegapunk. In an unusual manner, Luffy consumed the attack instead. However, this unexpected action allowed Luffy to shield Vegapunk from harm.

The Fight Will Come To An End Soon

In simpler terms, during his battle against Lucci, Luffy’s strongest form (Gear 5th) wasn’t sustained for a long time. This suggests that he needs to push harder and wrap up the fight swiftly. It’s important to note that Luffy seems a bit casual in this fight. He’s managed to hit Kizaru, but the blows didn’t cause significant harm. Luffy understands the danger of underestimating an opponent like Kizaru, so he won’t keep up his laid-back approach for long. Otherwise, Kizaru will gain a substantial advantage. In essence, fans should expect Luffy to abandon his carefree demeanor or face being at a disadvantage against Kizaru.

The Admiral possesses a formidable Devil Fruit and has largely mastered its lethal capabilities. Additionally, he demonstrates exceptional Haki proficiency. Given these abilities, it seems unlikely that Luffy will be able to withstand the Admiral when he loses his Gear Fifth form.

Zoro and Lucci Also Appeared In The Episode

In addition to them, Zoro and Lucci were featured in the episode. Following a near-fatal attack by Lucci using Shigan, which targeted Stussy, Zoro stepped up for a confrontation. The Straw Hat crew recognizes that Lucci is an exceptional adversary, and they don’t care about anyone who gets in their way. If Zoro doesn’t keep him at bay, Lucci poses a significant threat to the Straw Hat Pirates.

If your performance is as good as it gets, you won’t be given an opportunity to face off with our leader. (In reference to Captain) – Roronoa Zoro

At present, both combatants are giving their utmost, recognizing that restraint is useless. Notably, Lucci has activated his Devil Fruit’s Awakening, while Zoro is employing the King of Hell. So far, neither seems to have gained an advantage in this fight, but a brief instance of distraction could determine the winner.

In the forthcoming One Piece installment, we’ll get a detailed introduction to the character known as Saint, who is none other than one of the Gorosei members, Jaygarcia Saturn. He has stepped up to manage Vegapunk’s treachery and it appears that he’s tired of playing games. In the imminent episode, it seems that we will witness Jaygarcia Saturn unveiling his hidden powers, and these revelations are bound to have a profound impact on Egghead Island’s destiny.
