I’ve been following Luffy’s story, and it’s strange – his bounty is still at 3 billion berries. Even after everything that happened on Egghead – the huge incident that everyone’s talking about, and even being blamed for Dr. Vegapunk’s death – it hasn’t changed. He managed to escape the island in an unbelievable way, which you’d think would definitely raise his bounty, but so far, the story hasn’t shown any increase. It’s a bit of a mystery!

Things are set to change significantly after the events on Elbaf for several key reasons. We might not see Luffy’s updated bounty until after Elbaf, potentially revealed after what happens there. More importantly, the events on Elbaf are too big to ignore. Currently, Elbaf is causing problems for the World Government. Imu attempted to gain the Giants’ support by sending two Holy Knights to recruit Loki, but that plan failed. Now, three Holy Knights are in Elbaf, with Imu controlling one of them.
