The Worst Generation refers to a particularly powerful and influential group of pirates within the world of One Piece. While often called a generation, it’s more accurate to think of them as a collection of rivals. What unites them is being the most disruptive group of pirates seen in a long time, which is how they earned their name. It’s been years since a group this strong appeared, and fans recognize that Monkey D. Luffy, the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, is a key member of the Worst Generation.

For a long time, many people thought Luffy was the strongest member of the Worst Generation. This belief was particularly strong after he became a Yonko. But, the recent flashback to Elbaf suggests that Blackbeard comes from a unique lineage and currently possesses power that greatly exceeds Luffy’s. Therefore, Luffy is no longer the strongest member of the Worst Generation, having been surpassed by Blackbeard.

As Morgans stated, the next Pirate King will undoubtedly be someone from the Worst Generation, strongly suggesting that Luffy and Blackbeard – both members of that group – are the biggest threats.

Okay, so being a pirate in the world of One Piece means you’re constantly battling other pirates! Especially in Wano, it’s a total free-for-all. I’m talking about Monkey D. Luffy and all the other incredibly powerful captains – they’re known as the Worst Generation – and they’re *always* fighting for territory and treasure. It’s a crazy, non-stop struggle out there on the sea!

The recent Loki flashback in the Elbaf arc has revealed a lot more about Blackbeard. If there was any question about who is more powerful, Nika Luffy in Gear 5 or Blackbeard, it’s now clear. It’s certain that Blackbeard is now definitively the strongest pirate among the Worst Generation.

Everyone was already aware of Blackbeard’s immense power, stemming from his two Devil Fruits. With the Gura Gura no Mi, he possesses the ability to cause global destruction, and with the Yami Yami no Mi, he can negate other people’s abilities. Now, Oda has confirmed something even more significant: Teach is a descendant of the D. family. He didn’t just inherit the power of the D. Clan, but it’s also highly probable that he carries Buccaneer lineage as well.

Blackbeard Will Grow Even Stronger

Blackbeard is now officially unique in several ways. Besides possessing two Devil Fruits, he’s a Buccaneer and also a member of the Davy Bloodline. This suggests Blackbeard will have some of the most powerful Haki in One Piece, and he’s almost guaranteed to have advanced Conqueror’s Haki. Being the son of Rocks, Blackbeard is destined to exceed his father’s power and reach a new height. While Luffy will ultimately defeat him, currently, Teach is the strongest pirate among the Worst Generation in One Piece.
