As a fan who has journeyed through the One Piece universe for years, I must say that the Egghead arc was a game-changer in many ways. Each character in this arc showcased their strength and courage, but some stood out more than others.

Fans of One Piece expressed their doubts about the Egghead storyline due to its challenge of living up to the exceptional Wano Country arc. Yet, creator Eiichiro Oda showed no signs of backing down and delivered an explosive story for this particular arc. The Egghead arc showcased some of the most prominent characters from One Piece, with nearly all of them participating in battles on the island.

On Egghead Island, a whirlwind of conflict ensued. Given the turmoil, not every character was equally influential. Some prominent characters from “One Piece” stood out amidst the fray, winning battles, aiding others, and consistently finding themselves in opportune situations.

7 Bepo

In the Egghead saga, Bepo didn’t play a major part, but overlooking his significant impact on the narrative wouldn’t be fair. Simultaneously, the plot encompassed a multitude of global events, such as the confrontation between the Heart Pirates and the Blackbeard Pirates.

The Yonko aimed to seize Law’s Road Poneglyphs, and he managed to do so successfully. The sight of Law being defenceless ignited Blackbeard’s covetous spirit, prompting him to also aim for Law’s Devil Fruit. Bepo, who had been listening in, swiftly recognized the need for action. Utilizing Chopper’s medicine, Bepo activated his Sulong Form. Without delay, he charged against the Blackbeard Pirates, momentarily driving them away from their captain. This act of courage enabled Bepo to save Law and whisk him off Winner Island.

6 Emet

Contribution: Sent The Five Elders Back To Marijoa

Originally known as the Iron Giant, Emet was a breathtaking invention from the people of the Grand Kingdom. For long periods, Emet lay dormant, but it eventually stirred to life during the Egghead storyline upon hearing Luffy’s heartbeat, which bore an uncanny resemblance to the beat of the Drums of Freedom.

In the battle against the Five Elders and the Marines, Emet aided the Straw Hats and Dr. Vegapunk by using its extraordinary physical power to halt the Five Elders. Yet, it was Emet’s significant contribution that lay in untying the knot holding Joy Boy’s Haki. The force exerted was immense enough to push back four of the Five Elders to Marijoa, and even Imu could perceive that the Haki originated from Joy Boy.

5 Sanji

Contribution: Saved His Crewmates Multiple Times, Rescued Edison

In nearly every storyline, Sanji consistently steps up to the plate with remarkable deeds. Thus, it wasn’t unexpected that he demonstrated numerous impressive actions on Egghead Island. Initially, Sanji’s significant help came in rescuing Nami and the other Straw Hats from S-Shark. The Seraphim aimed to kill them, but thanks to Sanji, they survived. Additionally, Sanji saved Edison by shielding him from a laser beam.

Sanji played a crucial role in rescuing Jewelry Bonney and Bartholomew Kuma from dangerous attacks that could have been fatal. Moreover, he was entrusted with safeguarding Vegapunk, a responsibility he carried out flawlessly. If not for his intention to sacrifice himself to initiate the broadcast, Vegapunk would still be alive.

4 Monkey D. Luffy

Contribution: Defeated Lucci And Kizaru

Once more finding himself in the thick of things, just like other story arcs, Luffy took a central role. His journey began by giving Rob Lucci, who was dispatched to kill Dr. Vegapunk, a good thrashing. Subsequently, Luffy encountered Admiral Kizaru, who was with Jaygarcia Saturn on their way to Egghead for the supervision of Vegapunk’s execution.

Previously, Luffy was soundly defeated by Kizaru, but on this occasion, he turned the tables and triumphantly bested Kizaru. This victory underscored his worthiness of being called a Yonko. Subsequently in the storyline, Luffy engaged both Jaygarcia Saturn and Kizaru simultaneously. Furthermore, our young pirate crossed swords with other members of the Five Elders, momentarily holding them at bay.

3 Jewelry Bonney

In the Sabaody Archipelago storyline, Jewelry Bonney made her appearance alongside the other Supernovas. Regrettably, she didn’t receive much focus in the following arcs, leading to a lot of curiosity about her abilities and background among fans. However, all these uncertainties were addressed during the Egghead arc.

Beyond her deeply moving personal history, Bonney played a significant role in the triumph of the Straw Hat Pirates on Egghead Island. She engaged the Five Elders in combat and supported Luffy in any way possible. Fortunately, she experienced a happy resolution when she was reconnected with her father.

2 Dr. Vegapunk

In the Egghead storyline, we were formally introduced to Dr. Vegapunk. Previously, he had been mentioned in other arcs, but his identity remained hidden behind a veil. No other character could rival his intellect.

In the thrilling Egghead saga, I found myself witnessing the demise of Dr. Vegapunk – a moment that left many fans like me in shock. Yet, his final mission was successfully carried out: the broadcasting of information about the ominous Sword of Damocles, a revelation that sent shockwaves throughout the world and put the World Government in a precarious position.

Entering the story’s arc, few fans anticipated Bartholomew Kuma would leave such an enduring mark. Oda unveiled Kuma’s full history, revealing what a remarkable individual he truly is. Time and again, Kuma put others’ wellbeing above his own happiness. He even surrendered his consciousness to ensure his daughter, Bonney, could enjoy a long, thriving life.

As a gamer immersed in this captivating world, let me share my take on the storyline: I didn’t engage in any epic battles or bring down towering adversaries; instead, my emotional weight eclipsed every character’s actions. In one pivotal moment, I saved Bonney from Saturn’s relentless assault, leaving fans on edge about my survival. Thankfully, the masterful storyteller had other plans. Towards the conclusion of this arc, I was reunited with my long-lost daughter, a moment that allowed us to breathe easy, free from the constant dread for our lives.
