As a huge One Piece fan, I was completely blown away by what happened in the Elbaf arc! I honestly didn’t expect to see so much focus on Imu, who I’ve always considered the true big bad, but Oda really delivered. At first, it seemed like the Holy Knights would be the main threat, but Oda quickly shifted gears and put Imu front and center. And wow, seeing a glimpse of just how powerful Imu is was seriously shocking – their abilities are even more incredible than I imagined!

The recent events on Elbaf, particularly Imu’s arrival, have led many fans to speculate about the strongest Devil Fruit in One Piece. While many believe it’s either Imu’s fruit or Luffy’s Mythical Zoan, the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, the truth is Oda revealed the most dangerous ability long ago. According to the author, Blackbeard’s Yami Yami no Mi is the most powerful and seemingly unstoppable ability in the series, and Imu’s appearance on Elbaf reinforces this idea.

With it, he can control gravity and pull anything around him towards him.

This means that Imu’s abilities would be ineffective against him, Luffy’s Nika power wouldn’t work, and even the Gorosei’s Yokai abilities would be useless. Essentially, any power derived from a Devil Fruit, or any demonic ability like Imu’s, is rendered powerless when facing Blackbeard.

Currently, Blackbeard’s main weakness is that he has to physically touch someone to nullify their Devil Fruit powers. This leaves him vulnerable to attacks and counters before he can make contact. However, if Blackbeard awakens his Yami Yami no Mi Devil Fruit, that all changes. Once awakened, no one – not even someone as powerful as Imu – would be able to use their Devil Fruit abilities while near him. This would instantly make Blackbeard the strongest character in the world of One Piece.

It’s not speculation that the Yami Yami no Mi is the strongest Devil Fruit – the manga’s author, Oda, explicitly states it’s the most dangerous and powerful, even surpassing other Devil Fruits’ abilities. Rocks D. Xebec desperately sought this fruit, but failed to find it. Now that Blackbeard possesses it, he would defeat Imu in a direct fight, regardless of Imu’s power.

As we head into the final saga of One Piece, I’m absolutely buzzing about the battles to come! Honestly, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before we see Blackbeard go head-to-head with Imu, and I’ve got a strong feeling Blackbeard will be the one to come out on top. Even though Imu is ridiculously powerful, I think Blackbeard has what it takes to win!
