In the thrilling world of One Piece, an abundance of formidable characters abound. In each storyline, Oda brings forth new figures boasting exceptional powers capable of devastating entire urban landscapes. Given the intense rivalry among these characters, it’s quite challenging to shine. However, the legendary trio from the Straw Hat Pirates – the Monster Trio – have managed to outshine many with their impressive accomplishments, setting them apart from the competition.

The Monster Trio Have Many Powerful Abilities

The Monster Trio Can Turn The Tide Of Battle With Their Strength

In case you’re a One Piece enthusiast, you’re well aware that the mighty Monster Trio comprises Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. They are the most formidable warriors among their crew, earning this name due to their immense strength. Each member of this trio boasts incredible abilities, enabling them to confront fierce adversaries.

Within the crew, it’s Luffy who holds the title of the strongest member, boasting an exceptional mastery over all three forms of Haki, including their advanced variants. To add to this, Luffy is in possession of the mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit, known as the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. This extraordinary fruit grants him the ability to transform into the Sun God and enhances his physical prowess significantly.

Zoro and Sanji rank just below their captain in terms of power, often being referred to as the “wings of the Pirate King,” indicating they’re equal counterparts. Despite their similar strength level, they have distinct combat techniques. Zoro is a skilled swordsman, employing a three-sword fighting style during battles. He has proficiency in Armament and Observation Haki, but he’s yet to fully master the use of Conqueror’s Haki. Moreover, his physical endurance and stamina are noteworthy. On the other hand, Sanji, unlike Zoro, specializes in martial arts-based combat, utilizing fire techniques and unique abilities as a Devil Fruit user.

Sanji predominantly relies on his legs for combat, and over the years, he’s honed unique fighting styles that leverage his extraordinary physique. It’s no secret that Vinsmoke Judge conducted experiments on him, leading to genetic modifications in his body. This experimental process enhanced Sanji’s physical capabilities beyond those of an average human. His body can endure higher temperatures, which has been instrumental in the creation of Ifrit Jambe. Upon examining each member individually, it’s evident that the Monster Trio possesses incredible power; however, Oda has already hinted at a more powerful group.

The Rocks Pirates’ Trio Is Stronger Than The Monster Trio

Lately, I’ve witnessed the unraveling of Oda’s tale about how the pirate band known as Rocks was formed. In the chaotic Davy Back fights, their charismatic leader, Rocks D. Xebec, assembled his crew by scouting and recruiting new members. Although Rocks Pirates lacked a traditional three-man leadership team, there were three individuals who truly shone among the rest. These exceptional individuals were:

  • Rocks D. Xebec
  • Edward Newgate
  • Shiki

Among all the characters in the story, it appears that Oda gives special attention to these three particular ones. In terms of power, it’s evident that the trio from the Rocks Pirates surpasses the Monster Trio significantly. Rocks was a master swordsman whose sword strikes were rumored to have the force to demolish the Doors of Justice. Besides his exceptional swordsmanship, Rocks also possessed strong Haki. While Whitebeard and Shiki weren’t as powerful as Rocks, they were still viewed as formidable pirates by the World Government.

The Monster Trio Will Surpass Everyone

Luffy, Sanji, And Zoro Have A Lot Of Potential

The powerhouse trio, the Monster Trio, continues to show potential for development and enhancement. Each member harbors ambitious aspirations that can only be fulfilled if they become formidable enough to conquer their adversaries. Luffy, in particular, is striving to master his Devil Fruit’s Awakening ability and overcome its associated challenges.

Zoro needs to spend more time honing his Conqueror’s Haki skills. Once perfected, he could potentially imbue his weapons with darkness and perhaps even elevate their rank. Meanwhile, Oda should grant Sanji the ability of Conqueror’s Haki. If not, Sanji will need to develop an alternative strategy to compensate. Regardless, it’s only a matter of time before the Monster Trio surpass all other crews.
