Chapter 1159 was particularly revealing, kicking off the long-awaited story of the God Valley Incident and providing crucial new information about Rocks D. Xebec himself. Fans learned for the first time that Rocks D. Xebec had a secret full name: Davy D. Xebec.

It’s been revealed that Rocks is a direct descendant of the legendary pirate Davy Jones. This discovery, along with other clues from the author, strongly suggests that Blackbeard (Davy D. Teach) will be the final villain in *One Piece*. While Imu has been presented as a major threat, it now appears Luffy’s ultimate opponent will be Teach – another powerful Yonko and, like Rocks, a descendant of Davy Jones – who aims to rule the world as king.

Importantly, Rocks’s ambition and will were passed down to his son, Marshall D. Teach – Blackbeard himself.

Many fans believe that, like Rocks D. Xebec, Teach is determined to reach Marijoa. He ultimately wants to become King of the World, which will inevitably lead to a confrontation with Imu. The idea that Imu and Teach will clash in Marijoa is strengthened by the history between Imu and Rocks, as Rocks once vowed to return.

With the confirmation that Teach will battle Imu, it’s crucial for fans to remember how Eiichiro Oda typically structures his narratives. He wouldn’t simply eliminate the lineage connected to Davy Jones.
