The *One Piece* manga is now detailing the events of God Valley. After a long wait, the author, Oda, is finally revealing all the details surrounding what is considered a pivotal moment in the series’ history.

In chapter 1162, the author of *One Piece*, Eiichiro Oda, showed us who won the battle between Xebec and Garling. Both were key players in the event. After Garling won, Imu possessed Saturn’s body and prepared to face what would become the series’ most powerful team.

Near the chapter’s conclusion, Xebec, Whitebeard, and Kaido teamed up to confront Imu. While Whitebeard and Kaido weren’t sure what they were up against, Xebec understood they were facing an immense power – essentially, the entire world. The chapter ended on this cliffhanger, meaning fans will have to wait more than a week to see how the battle unfolds.

It’s clear Xebec, Whitebeard, and Kaido will be a formidable challenge. Xebec has already met Imu in Marijoa and understands the danger they pose, having warned Whitebeard and Kaido accordingly. They’ll be fighting with everything they’ve got, and it will be fascinating to see how much damage they inflict on Imu and how Imu manages to survive the battle.

It’s possible we’ll see Garp and Roger get involved too. Roger seemed excited to encounter Imu, and Garp was very surprised. Sengoku mentioned they once worked together to defeat Xebec, but that story might not be true. Oda hasn’t explained yet why Roger and Garp would have teamed up against Xebec in the first place.

Imu Might Have Turned Xebec Into A Demon

The only reason Roger and Garp would have fought alongside each other against Xebec is if Imu transformed Xebec into a demon. Since Imu struggled against the incredibly powerful Xebec, Whitebeard, and Kaido, their own physical strength probably wasn’t enough to win. Therefore, Imu likely used their powers to turn Xebec into a demon and then controlled him, ordering him to attack everyone on the island. This would explain why Roger and Garp would team up to stop Xebec and protect innocent people. As the story of the God Valley Incident comes to an end, it’s clear Oda will soon reveal the truth behind these events.

After this brief look into the past, the story will return to the present day in Elbaf. When we last saw Elbaf, it was in complete disarray due to the actions of Imu and the Holy Knights. Imu possessed Gunko and began attacking the Giants, even using magic to transform Dorry and Brogy into demons and cause destruction. Currently, Elbaf seems defenseless against Imu’s attack, but that might change when Luffy, Loki, and their allies arrive at the next level.

The key to surviving against the Holy Knights lies in learning to overcome their ability to heal. Scopper Gaban knows the technique to do this, and it’s crucial he teaches it to the younger fighters. If they can find a way to truly injure the Holy Knights, Elbaf will have a chance at lasting through this conflict.

Honestly, whatever goes down in this arc, things are *never* going to be the same. If Luffy manages to take down the Holy Knights and Imu, it’s going to be a huge opportunity for the Revolutionary Army. Dragon’s always insisted the Holy Knights were the biggest obstacle, and if Luffy chips away at their power, the Revolutionaries will finally be able to really make their move – they won’t have any reason to hold back anymore!
