This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.
Reading “One Piece” is particularly exciting because it offers the discovery of new bounties and the growth of cherished characters like the Straw Hat Pirates at the conclusion of each storyline. The climactic Final Saga of “One Piece” promises a highly anticipated unveiling: Luffy’s ultimate bounty.
Although it’s just speculation at this point, Oda has given strong indications that lead fans to think the final bounty could be 5.6 billion. This staggering number of berries would certainly be fitting for the future Pirate King. Luffy is on the verge of altering the world of One Piece significantly and making himself the arch-nemesis of the World Government in the process.
Luffy’s Final Bounty Should Be 5.6 Billion Berries

- 56 is Luffy’s Iconic Number
- 5.6 Billion is Just Over Roger
On his journeys, Luffy has accumulated a truly significant reward. Initially, his bounty was relatively small at only 30 million berries. However, following the occurrences in Wano where he managed to defeat one of the Four Emperors, Kaido the Beast, his bounty skyrocketed to an astounding 3 billion berries.
3 Billion is a substantial number, but it’s going to be eclipsed by something even more astounding in the near future. Luffy’s next wanted poster will most likely unfurl post-Elbaf, yet this won’t mark the end of his bounty count. His concluding bounty is predicted to materialize close to the culmination of One Piece. It’s highly probable that this bounty will amount to 5.6 billion, and there are numerous factors supporting this prediction.
Initially, the number 56 holds significant value in relation to Luffy, as it comprises the name of his Devil Fruit, Gomu Gomu no Mi, in Japanese (Go and Mu). Furthermore, the number 5.6 billion could be an ideal amount for the upcoming Pirate King’s bounty, given that the previous Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, had a bounty of approximately 5.56 billion berries. This would position Luffy slightly above Roger, adding a fitting narrative.
Will Luffy Have the Highest Bounty in One Piece?
His Bounty Will Surpass Roger And Dragon’s Figures

Given that Luffy’s final bounty might be around 5.6 billion, fans ponder whether Luffy will have the greatest bounty in the series. Among the characters for whom we have information, it certainly would be so. Notably, the highest known bounty at present is Roger’s, which amounts to 5,564,800,000 berries.
In simpler terms, there are some iconic characters whose rewards (or bounties) have not been disclosed as of yet, such as Monkey D. Dragon. However, it’s doubtful that he has surpassed the previous Pirate King in this aspect. Luffy, on the other hand, is highly deserving to hold the highest reward among all pirates, given his status as the new Pirate King and the prospective successor of Nika, the legendary One Piece deity who aims to bring down Imu and the World Government permanently.
