This article contains spoilers for One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.
After taking a two-week hiatus, One Piece is back, and as a token of appreciation for the massive success of the Elbaf arc, its creator, Oda, fulfilled his promise to fans by unveiling a fresh color spread this week. This incredible new artwork showcases some intriguing characters other than the Straw Hat pirates.
This hue has sparked a lot of debates among the One Piece fan base, with some speculating that it could be a subtle indication from Oda regarding the top three crucial Straw Hat members following Luffy.
One Piece’s New Colorspread Highlights Three Straw Hats Next To Luffy
- Sanji, Zoro, and Nami
- Usopp is Left Out Of The East Blue Group
In the latest chapter (1156) of “One Piece”, a stunning colorspread has been unveiled. This new artwork stands out among recent fan favorites, primarily due to its portrayal of the main trio from the Roger Pirates: Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban.
Beyond the Roger Pirates, the limelight also shone on the entire Straw Hat Crew, yet among them, three particular members were highlighted, including myself, [Your Name].
In contrast to the diminutive forms of other Straw Hats, Zoro, Sanji, and Nami are full-sized characters. It appears that Oda intentionally designed them this way to emphasize their presence among the greats like Roger and his key allies.
Nami and Zoro stood near Rayleigh, while Sanji was in focus alongside Gaban. Yet, many fans found it disheartening that all the Straw Hat Pirates from East Blue were featured prominently in this color spread, excluding Usopp. This is particularly frustrating because Elbaf has been teased as the arc where Usopp will excel. However, so far, he hasn’t made a substantial impact or received any noticeable attention, not even on a color spread.
Are Zoro, Sanji, and Nami The Most Important Straw Hat Pirates?
All The Straw Hat Pirates Are Important in Their Own Way
Each member of the Straw Hat Pirate crew may not receive equal focus, but each plays a unique and significant role within the group.
This color spread featuring Nami, Zoro, and Sanji from Oda doesn’t imply that these characters hold a greater significance compared to others within the storyline.
As a fervent fan of One Piece, I can’t help but feel the anticipation building for each and every Straw Hat pirate. Their moment to truly shine is inevitable, particularly in the grand Final Saga. Time may be the only factor standing between us and their glorious showcase of skills and resilience!
