At that point in his life, Gol D. Roger wasn’t yet a prominent pirate, but he held a deep affection for Shakky, who was then the second-in-command to Kuja, just below Gloriosa. Unfortunately, Shakky did not return Roger’s feelings. Instead, her admiration was directed towards Rayleigh.

Readers have come to understand that there’s a strong bond between her and Rayleigh, leading many to believe they are romantically involved within the narrative. Consequently, this relationship has sparked a widely-held theory suggesting they might be the parents of Mihawk.

In the latest installment, the timelines align well. It’s been established that Mihawk is currently 43 years old, and it appears they had their first encounter prior to that point in time.

Many fans have also pointed out physical resemblances between Rayleigh, Shakky, and Mihawk.

Currently, it’s merely speculation that Mihawk might be the offspring of Shakky and Rayleigh, as there’s insufficient evidence supporting this claim. However, the notion certainly sparks intrigue.
