Although we’ve seen this workspace before, it doesn’t often provide many insights. However, in the recent reveal, some of Oda’s largest sketches have been unveiled, one of which bears an unexpected resemblance to the character Imu.

This individual sports a massive crown atop their head, adorned in a pattern identical to Imu. Their hair is lengthy, and they sport a band diagonally crossing their torso. They exude an undeniable air of royalty, and it’s common knowledge among fans that centuries ago, Imu held a sovereign position.

Imu Is Most Likely A Woman, Or In A Woman’s Body

It’s quite striking that this design shares a strong resemblance with Lily, as we know from the narrative, Lily was among the 20 Rulers who united to overthrow the Ancient Kingdom. However, she also played a crucial role in disseminating the Poneglyphs worldwide. What stands out most is that after surrendering her weapon in Marijoa’s Throne Room, Lily didn’t return home; instead, her brother seized control of Arabatsa.

Based on Oda’s sketches, it seems plausible that the current ruler of the One Piece world is actually Imu inhabiting Lily’s body. This isn’t unexpected considering they also have the ability to possess Gunko. It’s possible that fans are getting their first glimpse of Imu and Lily in these drawings, and it won’t be long before they are fully unveiled in the manga.
