One Piece: Oda Officially Reveals A New Master Of Haki

This article contains spoilers from the Elbaf arc of One Piece.

The Elbaf arc in One Piece has given fans a glimpse of many fascinating new characters, each with impressive powers. As this is the final part of the story, Oda has skillfully introduced both incredibly strong Devil Fruits and exceptionally talented Haki users.

Haki and Devil Fruits remain central to the power system in One Piece, and that continues to be true in this current story arc. Throughout the Final Saga, Oda has been introducing incredibly strong Devil Fruit users, along with equally powerful Haki users. Specifically in the Elbaf arc, Oda has revealed a true master of Haki – Loki, the Accursed Prince of Elbaf – who will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the upcoming fight against Imu and the Demon Army.

Haki Users Are Crucial In The Final Saga Of One Piece

  • Haki doesn’t yield to Devil Fruit ability
  • Conqueror’s Haki is the weakness of those with immortality

Fans of One Piece expect that those with Haki will play a vital role in the final fight against Imu. We’ll likely get a glimpse of the coming war during the Elbaf arc, as Imu hinted. With battles reaching such an intense level, Haki is essential, and many believe the Straw Hat Pirates need to fully master it next.

Haki is always helpful in a fight, but the Straw Hat Pirates are facing extremely powerful opponents: the Holy Knights and the forces of Imu. Previous reports, like those from Gaban, have made it clear that ordinary attacks won’t be enough. The only way to effectively counter Imu’s power – and stop the Holy Knights and the destructive Demon Army currently attacking Elbaf – is with Supreme King Haki (Conqueror’s Haki). Because of this, developing and mastering Haki is now more crucial than ever before.

Conqueror’s Haki, also known as the power to overwhelm others, is something possessed by many strong and influential people. Silvers Rayleigh explained to Luffy that you can’t directly train or strengthen this type of Haki; it’s a reflection of the user’s own spirit and will only become more powerful as the user themselves grows stronger.

The Haki Users Of The Straw Hat Pirates

Currently, Luffy and Zoro are the only two members of the Straw Hat Pirates who possess Conqueror’s Haki. However, neither of them are using it to its full potential. During the Egghead arc, Luffy failed to effectively use his Conqueror’s Haki against the Five Elders, unable to stop their regeneration. Zoro, having only recently discovered his own Conqueror’s Haki, hasn’t yet mastered it, and as Gaban pointed out, not being aware of your Haki hinders its use. This means Zoro hasn’t been a strong Haki user so far and needs significant improvement.

Sanji still hasn’t awakened his Haki, but it’s likely we’ll see that happen in future chapters of One Piece. The Straw Hat Pirates need to become much stronger overall, as Haki is increasingly important in the series. Fortunately, they’ll get some assistance from Loki, who has been confirmed as a skilled Conqueror’s Haki user.

During the flashback to Elbaf, we learned about Loki’s Conqueror’s Haki. This ability allowed him to accomplish something unique in the world of One Piece: defeat and kill a Holy Knight.

Loki Is Already A Master Of Haki In One Piece

  • Loki’s Haki could stop Ragnir
  • His Conqueror’s Haki could put a halt to Harald

It’s no surprise Loki is incredibly skilled – he has giant blood running through his veins and possesses immense power. What’s more, Ragnir only fully accepted him, highlighting just how exceptional he is, even among others with giant ancestry.

Loki possesses the incredibly rare Devil Fruit of Elbaf, and he’s also a master of Conqueror’s Haki – a power that initially earned him the respect of Ragnir and allowed him to obtain the fruit. He’s already proven himself skilled with Observation Haki, and while the extent of his Armament Haki is currently unknown, it’s safe to assume he has it. What truly sets Loki apart is his access to the even more powerful Supreme King Haki.

I’ve noticed something incredible about Loki – when he combines his Devil Fruit ability with his Haki, he can actually defeat characters who are normally considered immortal in the One Piece world. It’s something no one else has been able to do, not even the legendary Roger Pirates! I witnessed him defeat King Harald, even after Harald was empowered by Imu’s Covenant, proving Loki’s Haki is on a whole other level. I have a feeling we’re going to see just how powerful it is as the story goes on.

Loki’s Haki Proficiency Will Be Showcased In The Imu Battle

Currently, Loki is free thanks to Luffy and his crew, and a battle against Imu and his army is likely coming up. We’ve already seen a preview of Loki’s power with his Niflheim attack against a Draugr in Elbaf, and the next chapter will send him to the Sun World to face Imu. Soon, fans will get a full understanding of Loki’s Devil Fruit powers, and the story is set to become even more thrilling.

The upcoming battle against the Demon Army will be a great opportunity to see Loki’s impressive Haki skills in action. Alongside Loki, fan favorites like Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Gaban will also demonstrate incredible Haki abilities. This part of the Elbaf arc promises to be a showcase of Haki mastery, making it an especially exciting time to be a One Piece fan.
