One Piece: Oda Officially Reveals The True Power Of The Holy Knights

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf arc.

In the Final Saga of “One Piece,” a new, powerful entity known as The Holy Knights was introduced by author Eiichiro Oda. First mentioned after the events in Wano, the Holy Knights have significantly influenced the storyline so far in Elbaf, and it’s evident that they will be crucial not only for the resolution of this arc but also for what follows. Since the Holy Knights are World Government Knights, fans have been curious about their true strength throughout the series.

In the grand finale, it turns out that the Holy Knights of One Piece, as shown in the Elbaf arc, possess varying levels of immense power. Some are at Admiral level, while others have power akin to Yonko, with a few being less formidable compared to their peers.

Oda Confirms Holy Knights’ Power Level

The Holy Knights Having Varying Powers

  • Shamrock is clearly Yonko level
  • Sommers and Killingham are slightly weaker than Yonko

In the Elbaf arc of “One Piece,” the Holy Knights have played a pivotal part right from the start. Two of these knights who made their debut in this storyline are Shamrock Figarland and Gunko. It’s no secret that Shamrock Figarland is quite powerful, with the author, Oda, explicitly illustrating in the narrative that Shamrock Figarland is at the level of a Yonko pirate captain. Notably, Shamrock is the older twin brother of Shanks, making it unsurprising to find him holding his own against his brother’s stature.

Shamrock possesses a Cerberus-like power that amplifies his sword, granting him formidable might. Though Oda hasn’t depicted him in battle extensively, it’s evident fans consider him stronger than Loki, implying Shamrock might be on par with a Yonko.

In the meantime, it’s worth noting that Gunko is incredibly powerful. It was mentioned by Shamrock that even if Loki weren’t restrained, he wouldn’t stand a chance against Gunko. She could also effortlessly handle Jinbe and other Straw Hats. At the very least, Gunko’s strength puts her at Admiral level, and she should be capable of facing off against the Yonko.

Saint Sommers possesses significant power but is evidently not as formidable as his peers. Robin and Gaban seem capable of inflicting damage upon him, with Gaban even being able to defeat him outright. Similarly, Killingham can also be placed in this category, suggesting they are roughly at the same level or slightly weaker than the Navy’s Admirals.

The Holy Knights Can Be Compared To The Admirals

The Holy Knights Outnumber The Admirals

From what has been shown so far, it seems that the Holy Knights surpass the Admirals in terms of strength. They have a larger number, with approximately 11 Holy Knights compared to just 4 Admirals, including the Fleet Admiral. Additionally, there appear to be more characters within the Holy Knights who possess Yonko-level power. Moreover, an intriguing aspect is that all members of the Holy Knights are said to be immortal. Both groups are extremely powerful, but at present, it seems that the Holy Knights have the potential to challenge not only the Navy Admirals but also a full Yonko crew, with a reasonable probability of victory.
