One Piece: Oda Quietly Sets Up Zoro’s Next Power After Conqueror’s Haki

I’m a huge One Piece fan, and honestly, Zoro is just incredible! He’s definitely one of the strongest fighters in the Straw Hat crew, right after Luffy. Some might even put him on par with Sanji, which makes for some awesome battles! The author, Oda, has made it clear that Zoro is going to become unbelievably powerful – he’s determined to defeat Dracule Mihawk and become the world’s greatest swordsman! I’m so excited to see how he grows and evolves in the final part of the story, he’s going to be a force to be reckoned with!

Currently, Zoro’s greatest strength is his Haki ability. He possesses Conqueror’s Haki and is working to become more skilled with it, but that alone won’t be enough for him to reach his full potential. To become truly powerful, Zoro needs to get even stronger, and the author of One Piece has already hinted at what his next power-up will be.

Zoro Has Already Learned To Use Conqueror’s Haki

Enma Brought Out Zoro’s Latent Haki

I’m absolutely convinced that Zoro’s biggest goal right now is mastering Conqueror’s Haki! It was so cool to see him first unlock it during the Wano arc, and it all happened because of Enma. That sword seems to have a knack for pulling out a user’s hidden potential. It turns out Zoro actually had Conqueror’s Haki inside him the whole time, and Enma brought it out without him even realizing it! He even managed to beat King using it, completely unaware of the power he was wielding – it was incredible!

During the Elbaf Arc, Scopper Gaban revealed to Zoro that he needs to master his Conqueror’s Haki to unlock its full potential. Zoro’s main challenge in this arc will be learning to consciously control his Haki and significantly increase his strength. Achieving this would make him one of the most powerful characters in One Piece. However, to defeat someone as exceptional as Mihawk, Zoro needs even more than just improved Haki control – and that’s where the Asura technique comes into play.

What Will Zoro’s Next Power Up After Conqueror’s Haki Be?

Zoro Will Master The Power Of Asura

Now that Zoro has fully mastered Conqueror’s Haki, many fans believe his next big power boost will be unlocking the full potential of Asura. We first saw Asura during his fight with Kaku before the timeskip, and again when he battled Kuma on Sabaody. He briefly used it against Kaido, calling it his strongest attack. However, he hasn’t used it much since then, typically only employing it for single attacks. If Zoro hopes to truly defeat a powerful opponent like Mihawk, he needs to learn to consistently activate and sustain Asura for extended periods.

I will put my all into the next attack. If I fail, it is up to you afterwards. — Roronoa Zoro

  • Once Zoro unlocks Conqueror’s Haki, he might finally be able to fully control his Asura transformation, allowing him to maintain it for longer periods. To defeat a powerful opponent like Mihawk in a prolonged fight, Zoro needs to master the Asura power. This mastery will evolve his three-sword style into a devastating nine-sword style, making him an incredibly formidable fighter. A swordsman wielding nine swords and possessing strong Conqueror’s Haki would be nearly unbeatable, potentially even surpassing Dracule Mihawk.

Zoro Must Also Blacken His Swords

All Swords Will Go Up In Rank After Blackening

As the story of One Piece reaches its climax, Zoro is expected to master the ability to darken his swords. While he hasn’t achieved this yet, it was revealed during the Wano Country arc that blackening his blades will significantly increase his power and elevate all of his swords to a higher level. It’s likely Zoro will learn this skill eventually, solidifying his status as an unmatched swordsman.
