- Imu Holds The Power Of The Demon God
In the popular series One Piece, Luffy was the first deity that fans truly encountered. During the Wano arc, Luffy transformed into the Sun God Nika due to his Devil Fruit awakening, granting him an extraordinary power. So formidable was this newfound strength that he managed to defeat Kaido, the mightiest creature known in the world. This transformative event marked a significant shift in One Piece, prompting Oda to introduce additional deities he had previously kept hidden. Among these new entities, Imu, the Ruler of the World, holds the utmost importance.
Allow Mu to show thee the dominance of a God! — Imu
In the Elbaf storyline, Imu made their debut on the battlefield, and for the first time, was referred to as a divine entity by author Oda. Imu claimed possession of god-like powers, and subsequently displayed their formidable abilities, albeit through Gunko’s body. Although it was expressed through Gunko, the demonstration of Imu’s power was undeniably intimidating.
From what we’ve seen so far, only fragments of Imu’s divine abilities have been disclosed. It’s quite evident that Imu seems to embody the role of a Demon God, given the demonic traits such as horns, wings, and a tail tipped with spikes. Moreover, Imu wields a trident, but most notably, Imu has the power to transform others into eternal, subservient demon minions. The essence of Imu’s godhood is that of a demon, harnessing evil energy to enslave adversaries.

Other Gods That Exist In The One Piece World
The Rain God, Forest God, Sea God, And Earth God Also Exist

In the grand saga of One Piece, Imu is undeniably one of the most powerful deities introduced so far, but it’s essential to remember that there are numerous other gods yet to be fully unveiled by Oda. For instance, the Rain God from Skypiea remains a mystery, and there are also deities like the Forest God, Sea God, and Earth God hinted at in Harle, waiting to be explored. The Final Saga promises to reveal these divine characters in all their glory, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the unfolding of Oda’s masterful storytelling.
