As a die-hard One Piece fan, I must say that the Egghead Island arc truly brought some of our beloved characters to life like never before! Her story, from creation to her role in the Straw Hats’ escape, was nothing short of captivating.

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Egghead Arc.

The “Egghead Island” storyline within the anime series “One Piece” was nothing short of extraordinary in numerous aspects, and now that this arc has concluded, fans eagerly anticipate what lies ahead. Known as the start of the Final Saga, Egghead’s grandeur surpassed all predictions and left viewers excited for the future developments.

This story’s arc was not just filled with significant character deaths, unexpected twists and turns, and critical plot revelations, but it also brought back several familiar faces, a development that thrilled the audience. Admittedly, some of these comebacks were foreseeable, but others were so surprising that no fan could have possibly anticipated them.

Koby

Koby Took The Spotlight On Hachinosu After The Timeskip

One Piece: Old Characters Who Returned In Egghead Arc

One of the initial characters introduced in One Piece is named Koby. He traveled with Luffy after being rescued by him initially, but later chose to leave and join the Navy. Fans have encountered Koby sporadically throughout the series; he appeared briefly following the Enies Lobby arc, and again during the Summit War. Post-timeskip, Koby’s presence in the story was minimal until his significant return in the Egghead segment, which provided an extensive look at his character.

As a gamer, I revealed my hidden potential to the crowd when I activated my dormant Haki, managing a daring getaway from Egghead. Meanwhile, Garp put everything on the line for me with a momentous sacrifice.

Rob Lucci

Lucci Returned Properly On Egghead After Enies Lobby

In the Egghead Island storyline, Rob Lucci – well-known for his formidable fighting abilities and previously portrayed as the primary adversary during the Enies Lobby saga – makes another appearance. His mission in Egghead this time around is to eliminate the character named Vegapunk.

Indeed, when Luffy showed up at Egghead, a showdown between them seemed unavoidable. However, Lucci soon realized that he was in over his head in a fight against an Emperor, leading him to opt for Zoro instead. These two engaged in a prolonged battle that left both of them exhausted. In the end, no clear resolution was ever established, but it was evident that Zoro held the upper hand.

Kaku

In the Egghead Island storyline, we noticed Kaku, a past CP9 associate, reappearing. Similar to Lucci, he engaged in combat with the Straw Hats, demonstrating both his abilities and personal development over time. Though Kaku’s part wasn’t as substantial as Lucci’s, it was thrilling nonetheless, particularly when readers caught a glimpse of his evolving bond with Stussy, as skillfully penned by the author.

Stussy

Stussy Made A Grand Return After Whole Cake Island

One Piece: Old Characters Who Returned In Egghead Arc

In the Whole Cake Island Arc, Stussy was first introduced as a shady figure, sparking interest among fans who wished to learn more about this intriguing character. Later on, glimpses of Stussy were seen here and there throughout the Wano arc. However, it was in Egghead that Stussy took center stage, allowing fans to fully understand her abilities and delve into the story behind her origin, unraveling the mystery of how she came to be.

In the final scenes of Egghead, it’s unclear what happened to Stussy, but it can be inferred that her actions played a crucial role in enabling the Straw Hat Pirates to escape. If she hadn’t been there, their getaway wouldn’t have transpired as it did, and this particular story arc would likely have taken a different course.

Garp

Garp Took A Central Role For The First Time Since The Paramount War

In the thrilling Egghead Island saga, I, Monkey D. Garp, made my grand entrance once more. The storyline had me charging against Pirates’ Island Hachinosu, a pivotal moment in the arc. My actions were driven by a deep concern for my protégé, Koby, who was being held captive by the Blackbeard Pirates. I’m proud to say that I managed to carry out my mission successfully, though at the end, I was left behind, and the details of my present state remain shrouded in mystery.

Still, for the very first time in ages, fans got to see the true power, which was certainly fantastic. There’s more from Garp to come in the upcoming arcs, and fans hope for similar treatment from Oda.

Kuma

Kuma Played A Major Role After The Summit War Saga

During the Egghead Island saga, it was Bartholomew Kuma, a former member of the Shichibukai, who made a reappearance in the One Piece world. Interestingly, this arc was largely centered around Kuma himself. In the course of this arc, fans were given an insight into Kuma’s life history, and not only did they get to explore his past, but they also witnessed him acting contrary to logic, driven solely by the power of love in the current timeline.

Kuma engaged in a battle with both Kizaru and Saturn, providing a deeply satisfying experience for viewers. Let’s hope that we’ll encounter more of Kuma as the next chapters of One Piece unfold.

Jewelry Bonney

Bonney Finally Became The Focus In Egghead

Jewelry Bonney, a character from the Worst Generation, wasn’t heavily featured in storylines prior to Egghead. Yet, her reappearance post-Wano was significant, marking a turning point in the narrative. Since then, Bonney has played a pivotal role in Egghead events, and it can be argued that she served as the secondary main character for this particular arc.

Readers were treated to the entire journey of Bonnie, from her birth up until she transformed into a pirate and crossed paths with Luffy. A significant aspect of Bonnie’s character is her unique powers, which the author masterfully developed during this narrative arc. As part of the Straw Hat crew, Bonnie sets sail for Elbaf, and it’s expected that she will remain vital to the story moving forward as well.
