While One Piece is known for its exciting action, the series has delivered some truly incredible battles over its 28-year run. Recently, the manga delved into the full story of the God Valley Incident, revealing a massive battle 38 years in the past that brought together the most powerful fighters.
With so many powerful characters possessing incredible Devil Fruits and Haki gathered together, a massive clash of strength erupted. Imu, the world’s ruler, emerged as the clear victor. While fans knew Imu would be strong, they surpassed all expectations by effortlessly enduring attacks from six incredibly powerful opponents without taking any damage, and then even defeated Rocks D. Xebec. Currently, it seems nearly impossible to envision a scenario where Luffy and his crew could defeat Imu in the final arc of the story.
Imu Is One Piece’s Best Devil Fruit User
Imu is a key figure in One Piece, first introduced during the Reverie arc, and has captivated fans ever since. Ever since this mysterious character appeared, everyone has wondered about their powers. Recent events in the Elbaf arc, particularly after Chapter 1163, may have finally revealed the answer, according to series creator Eiichiro Oda.
It was recently discovered that Imu played a significant role in the events at God Valley, manifesting through Saint Saturn – a similar occurrence to Gunko’s appearance on Elbaf. This sudden involvement demonstrates that Imu possesses a power level far exceeding legendary figures like Rocks, Roger, Garp, Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom.
Even the combined might of incredibly powerful characters like Rocks, Whitebeard, Kaido, Big Mom, Roger, and Garp couldn’t significantly harm Imu. Despite unleashing their powerful Devil Fruit abilities, Imu effortlessly withstood the attacks, quickly regenerating from any damage. Imu’s resilience is unique – no other character in the One Piece world could survive such an onslaught.
After demonstrating their amazing defense, Imu revealed the offensive power of their Devil Fruit, defeating Rocks with a technique called Domi Reversi. This turned Xebec into Imu’s obedient slave, who followed every order from the world’s ruler. Ultimately, Garp and Roger were forced to defeat Xebec.
Imu Devil Fruit Makes Them One Piece’s Hardest Character To Defeat
Imu Can Only Be Beaten With A Powerful Alliance
Honestly, seeing so many powerful characters throwing everything they have at Imu and not even making a dent is really worrying me for Luffy and the crew. Luffy’s strong, no doubt, and his Devil Fruit is awesome, but he’s just not on the same level as all those top-tier fighters combined, and it’s becoming clear that Imu’s powers are in a whole other league entirely. It’s a seriously tough situation!
Imu is incredibly powerful and likely unbeatable in a one-on-one fight, as suggested by the events in Elbaf. Luffy will need to gather a large number of allies to overcome Imu’s Devil Fruit ability, and Blackbeard, with his power to nullify other Devil Fruits, might even be necessary. Luffy’s Nika form seems uniquely suited to combat Imu’s darkness, but it will still be an extremely difficult battle. Ultimately, Luffy must succeed where Joy Boy failed 800 years ago.
