Over the past few years, the fame of “One Piece” has skyrocketed to such an extent that even esteemed and prominent brands are now partnering with this series. In 2024, there was a collaboration between “One Piece” and Puma, which resulted in the launch of exclusive sneakers modeled after the Four Emperors. Predictably, these shoes were snapped up immediately, forcing Puma to reintroduce them due to high demand.

It is now known that the popular manga series One Piece will team up with Sekkisei, a well-known Japanese skincare brand. As stated on Sekkisei’s official website, this partnership will produce three exclusive sunscreens, each showcasing a distinct One Piece character. These special items will be accessible starting February 16, 2025.

One Piece x Sekkisei Release Date

Only three characters will be included in this collaboration. These are:

  • Monkey D. Luffy
  • Roronoa Zoro
  • Chopper

Each character symbolizes a unique type of sunscreen. The one featuring Luffy’s image has a gel-consistency. Its price tag reads 2,310 yen, and it weighs approximately 90 grams.

The sunscreen featuring Zoro’s image is referred to as ‘essence milk,’ which makes it less tacky or sticky. It comes in a 60g package and retails at 2,640 yen. On the other hand, the sunscreen displaying Chopper’s face caters to sensitive skin types. This one has a volume of 50mL and is available for purchase at 2,310 yen. It’s important to note that these limited edition products from Sekkisei might not be restocked unless there is an unprecedented surge in demand.

2025 Could Be A Big Year For One Piece

2025 can’t come soon enough for me as a One Piece fanatic! I’m thrilled to share that the anime will be back in April 2025, marking the start of the next chapter in the Egghead Island arc. It’s been a while since we’ve seen new episodes, as Toei Animation decided to take a brief hiatus last year. The reason? They wanted to ensure that the quality of the anime remained top-notch – and after the mind-blowing episodes they’ve been churning out, I can understand why! Keeping up with such high-quality animation is no easy task, so Toei Animation chose to take a break to give their dedicated team a well-deserved rest. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next year!

It’s quite plausible that Wit Studio may reveal details on the remake of One Piece by 2025, given that it was first announced back in 2023. However, updates have been scarce so far, leaving fans eager for a release date announcement. Fingers crossed for some fresh insights into this project next year!
