The ongoing manga series “One Piece” is currently immersed in the Elbaf storyline, a highly popular segment among fans due to several compelling factors. The Elbaf arc introduces the Holy Knights, sheds light on vital world history, and even welcomes Saint Imu onto the scene. Additionally, it initiated an epic flashback involving Loki and King Harald. Given the numerous plotlines unfolding, it’s no surprise that renowned author Eiichiro Oda would introduce formidable characters, and indeed, he has unveiled an entire family whose power might rival even the Monkey D. Family.

The Monkey D. Family Is Powerful

Its Known Members Are Luffy, Garp, and Dragon

In the realm of One Piece, numerous influential families exist, yet none grab your attention as quickly as the Monkey D. clan does.

The Monkey D. Clan boasts some incredibly influential members. To date, only three individuals from this family have been introduced, each possessing remarkable strength. Leading the pack is undeniably Monkey D. Luffy, the central figure in our story. Luffy has proven himself to be an extraordinary force, demonstrating significant growth over the past few years. In fact, he now holds the title of Yonko following his victory against Kaido.

The second character is Monkey D. Garp, who is often referred to as the Marine Hero. This man was arguably the strongest Marine there ever was, engaging in an equal struggle with the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Despite no longer being at his peak strength, Garp remains quite formidable even today, having faced numerous powerful adversaries throughout his career.

The last recognized family member is Monkey D. Dragon, who is Luffy’s father and Garp’s son. Although Dragon has not yet fully displayed his abilities within the series, it is well-known among fans that he possesses immense power. This is largely due to the fact that he serves as the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army, an organization dedicated to overthrowing the Celestial Dragons.

Oda Reveals Another Powerful Family

While the Monkey D. family is undeniably powerful, it doesn’t imply that no other families within the world of One Piece lack the capacity to match or surpass them. The Rocks family, in particular, shows promising potential for greatness.

In the world of One Piece, the name Rock carries a great deal of historical significance. Originally, only one individual from the Rock family was known – Rocks D. Xebec, an infamous pirate whose reputation is second only to Roger’s. Known for leading the wildest pirate crew ever assembled, the Rocks Pirates, this pirate band included notable figures such as Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Shiki.

Stepping back for a moment, it’s worth noting that among the formidable cast of characters in Oda’s creation, a fresh face has emerged – a man known as both Xebec and Blackbeard, who goes by Teach. Remarkably similar to Rocks in strength and potential, these two could very well rule their respective epochs if given the chance.

One potential addition to this family is Buggy, even though he may not be powerful himself, he commands Mihawk and Crocodile. However, what stands out most is the suggestion by Oda that Davy Jones, who seems to have existed during the Void Century, might also belong to this family. This character is highly revered across the entire pirate community.
