As a devoted fan, I’d describe Blackbeard as a sly and ruthless pirate who only acts when the situation is favorable to him. So far, his tactics have paid off almost every time. Just like the other Yonko, Blackbeard is after the One Piece. He managed to best Trafalgar Law on Winner Island, earning himself the two Road Poneglyphs in the process.

Blackbeard may have instructed Kuzan and Van Augur to seize the third item from Whole Cake Island concurrently with their mission to abduct Charlotte Pudding. Charlotte is a member of the Three-Eyed Tribe, known for their ability to decipher Poneglyphs upon reaching their full potential. At the time last observed, Charlotte had not activated this power, but it’s plausible that her situation has evolved since then.
