As a longtime fan and follower of One Piece since its debut, I can confidently say that the Straw Hat Pirates are destined to become the strongest crew in the series. With their unique abilities, unyielding determination, and the prophecy of becoming the Pirate King hanging over them, they are well on their way to surpass even the legendary Roger Pirates.
The Monster Trio, consisting of Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, have already shown their immense potential by taking down some of the toughest opponents in the series. Luffy’s Gear Fourth form is a testament to his incredible power, while Zoro’s relentless pursuit of becoming the world’s greatest swordsman will undoubtedly lead him to new heights. As for Sanji, his scientific progression and dynamic with Zoro ensure that he too will become a force to be reckoned with.
However, it’s not just the Monster Trio who will make the Straw Hat Pirates unstoppable. Each member of the crew brings something unique to the table, from Nico Robin’s archaeological knowledge and combat skills to Jinbe’s aquatic prowess and loyalty. Even the weakling trio, consisting of Franky, Brook, and Chopper, will grow stronger as they continue their journey with Luffy.
In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Straw Hat Pirates take on the likes of Kaido, Big Mom, and even Blackbeard in the final saga. With their combined strength, determination, and camaraderie, they will undoubtedly become the strongest pirate crew in One Piece history.
And let’s not forget the joke – when the Straw Hat Pirates finally claim the One Piece, I bet Luffy will say something like “We did it, boys! Now let’s go find a bar and celebrate with some rum!” Only One Piece can bring such humor to even the most epic of battles.

Summary
- Luffy hasn’t reached his full potential yet.
- Zoro and other crew members have room to grow.
- The Straw Hat Pirates are destined to surpass all others.
Over time, I’ve watched a small group from the East Blue, known as the Straw Hat Pirates, transform into an immensely powerful force within the world. Their rise to prominence, marked by registration among the elites, has been nothing short of captivating. It’s their ability to conquer challenges and obstacles that keeps fans enthralled in their epic journey as much as the adventure itself.
Although the team has been recognized as a Yonko crew now, they are far from reaching their full potential. In reality, the Straw Hat Pirates possess an immense growth potential and fans can anticipate witnessing them scale greater heights. This group may even nurture more than one character capable of matching a Yonko’s power, which will ultimately allow them to outshine all other crews that have ever existed.
How The Straw Hat Pirates Will Grow Stronger
- Luffy hasn’t fulfilled his potential just yet
- Zoro and the others could step up in the Final Saga
It’s clear that the Straw Hat Pirates have significantly grown in strength. Before the timeskip, they may have seemed weak compared to the monsters of the New World, but after their 2-year training, they’ve reached an unparalleled level of power. Their might is now comparable to the Yonko crews, a fact that was made evident during the Wano Country Arc. Luffy, their captain, even held his own against Kaido, and managed to surpass him in strength. Zoro demonstrated he could beat King, one of Kaido’s top lieutenants, while Sanji defeated another, Queen. Franky bested Sasaki, and Robin overpowered Black Maria. Despite not yet reaching their full potential, the Straw Hat Pirates were able to handle the Beast Pirates efficiently, suggesting they are capable of even greater feats in the future.
When this battle is over, we’ll get the first glimpse of Luffy as the Pirate King. – Zoro and Sanji
In the world of One Piece, it’s clear that Luffy aims to outshine even the level of a Yonko. Although he holds the title of an Emperor, his battles against the Five Elders didn’t yield substantial results, suggesting he may not be as potent in a future confrontation with Imu. To ensure effectiveness in such a battle, Luffy needs to greatly enhance his Haki abilities and emulate what Joyboy demonstrated on Egghead. This alone indicates that Luffy will surpass the rank of a Yonko in the One Piece universe.
As a result, it implies that Luffy’s followers must become stronger too. Once every member of the Straw Hat Pirates reaches their peak, the entire crew will outshine all others, undoubtedly having more than one individual with Yonko-level strength.
The Yonko Level Members Of The Straw Hat Pirates
Zoro And Sanji Are Destined For Greatness
Among the high-ranking members of the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy is undeniably the one who stands out. This is primarily because he has been crowned as a Sea Emperor, a title he earned by defeating Kaido during the Wano Country Arc. As an Emperor, Luffy exhibits immense power, and his deeds have secured him a bounty of 3 billion berries. Interestingly, Luffy could potentially possess an even higher bounty; however, due to the World Government’s desire to conceal the true nature of Nika, his bounty remains relatively modest.
As a long-time One Piece fan and someone who has watched the series unfold over many years, I can confidently say that Luffy’s strength is simply unmatched. From the Egghead Island arc, where he took on the formidable Elders who had the ability to regenerate, to his epic battle against Kizaru, in which he managed to knock him down and paralyze him for a substantial amount of time, Luffy’s abilities never cease to amaze me. And what makes it even more impressive is that he achieved all of this without even reaching his peak as a pirate. As a Yonko, Luffy has already proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with, but I have no doubt that he will continue to grow stronger in the future. It’s truly inspiring to see such growth and determination in a character, and I can’t wait to see what other feats Luffy will accomplish in the series!
Currently, Zoro has successfully defeated one of Kaido’s top lieutenants, King. It’s clear that he too can become stronger, and this is crucial if he wishes to surpass Mihawk, the world’s most skilled swordsman. If Zoro manages to best Mihawk and claim the title of the greatest swordsman, he would be equal in power to the Four Emperors of the Sea. In essence, this implies that the Straw Hat Pirates boast not just one, but potentially two individuals who can rival Yonko-level power, which, while unusual, is not entirely unheard of.
Furthermore, let’s consider the situation with Sanji, a character beloved by fans and often found alongside Luffy and Zoro. Sanji is one of the Wings of the Pirate King, and for Luffy to claim that title, the Wings must be evenly matched. While it’s true that Zoro may have an advantage over Sanji, this has always been a relative comparison and will continue to be so. Interestingly, Sanji has demonstrated the potential to outmatch Yonko First Mates, hinting at his hidden might. However, his full power is yet to be revealed as his scientific progression remains unpredictable.
As someone who has been following One Piece for over a decade now, I wholeheartedly believe that Sanji will undoubtedly reach a level of strength comparable to the Yonko by the end of the series. His growth and development throughout the storyline have always been intriguing, and his dynamic with Zoro adds an exciting layer to their rivalry.
With his affinity for science and the incomplete nature of his character arc, it’s only fitting that Sanji should reach new heights. I remember when I first started reading One Piece; I was captivated by the idea of a cook who could fight on par with the mighty Yonko. Seeing him grow and evolve has been an incredible journey, and I eagerly await his final showdown against some of the most formidable opponents in the series.
I can’t help but feel that the Straw Hat Pirates will boast three Yonko-level individuals by the end of this epic tale. Luffy has already surpassed this level, and Zoro is poised to stand shoulder to shoulder with any Emperor. It would be a fitting conclusion to their long and arduous journey, and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
Will The Straw Hats Be The Strongest One Piece Crew?
The Straw Hat Pirates Will Surpass Joy Boy
It’s clear as day that the Straw Hat Pirates will become the most powerful pirate crew in One Piece by the finale. After all, they must accomplish feats no other crews have managed before, outshining those who came before them. The Roger Pirates currently hold the title of greatest pirate crew ever, and the Straw Hats aim to surpass their achievements – first by obtaining the One Piece, and then, by accomplishing what the Rogers couldn’t: leaving an indelible mark on history for the better.
Factually speaking, not even the legendary “Joy Boy,” often referred to as the first pirate, could achieve what Luffy’s crew will manage, demonstrating their unmatched greatness in the world of One Piece. Given the caliber of this team, it’s essential to have the most powerful members on board.
The principles we’re discussing aren’t limited to the Monster Trio; they apply to all subordinates as well. Nico Robin should possess the strength to engage in combat with any top-ranking Yonko Commander, and Jinbe is a trusted member of the team, capable of going toe-to-toe with Yonko lieutenants. Even the weaker members of the trio, who currently might find it challenging to fight against the world’s elite pirates, need to grow considerably to prove their worth as part of Luffy’s crew.
Fans can access the popular series “One Piece” through Viz Media. Legitimately and without charge, you can read it on both Shonen Jump and Manga Plus apps. Mark your calendars as the next chapter of One Piece, titled “One Piece 1135,” is scheduled for release on January 3, 2024.
