So if you ever find yourself in a fight and need some backup, just shout “Asura!” and hopefully, Zoro will be there to save the day. Or at least try his best, because let’s face it, he’s not perfect! However, due to the urgency of retrieving the key from Kaku for Robin’s rescue, Zoro opted to conclude the battle swiftly. To do so, he employs Asura.

In this scenario, instead of simply waiting to be attacked, Kaku retaliates by readying his strongest technique, a powerful Rankyaku, which is capable of slicing through towers effortlessly. Simultaneously, Zoro mobilizes his most potent attack, Asura. However, Zoro swiftly transforms Kaku’s Rankyaku into mist and counters with an incredibly fast strike, targeting Kaku’s giraffe-like body. Clearly, in this exchange, Zoro emerges victorious.

Against the Pacifista PX-4

In response to Luffy’s punch against the arrogant World Noble, the World Government responds by sending their top forces – an Admiral and multiple Bartholomew Kuma cyborg replicas known as the Pacifista – to Sabaody Archipelago. The Straw Hat pirates find themselves battling one of these Pacifistas, specifically the PX-4 model in this instance.

Despite being a mechanical entity devoid of thought, the PX-4 proves to be a formidable adversary that requires the collective efforts of Luffy’s 3rd Gear punch, Sanji’s Diable Jambe, and Zoro’s Asura, coupled with repeated attacks from other Straw Hat members, just to be defeated. Even at his strongest, Zoro would struggle to overcome PX-4 using only the Asura technique alone. Thus, while the Asura is undoubtedly a lethal move, it is not indestructible.

Unlike Zoro, who employs a three-sword style for Asura, Kenshin relies on a single katana.
