Oda has officially stated that Shanks is the youngest known person to wield Advanced Conqueror’s Haki. For those unfamiliar, Conqueror’s Haki is a power that allows you to dominate opponents, and it can also be used to strengthen yourself. It’s effective for both attack and defense. Conqueror’s Haki is, without a doubt, among the most powerful abilities in One Piece, and Shanks achieved mastery of this advanced form before the age of 15.

I’ve been wondering about the move Kamusari – the one that took out Kid in one hit. Was it actually taught to Shanks by Roger? Or did Shanks just pick it up by observing Roger use it? It’s a pretty powerful technique, so I’m curious how he learned it.

Luffy vs Shanks Is Inevitable

Watching Shanks, it’s become clear to me that he’s mastered a power that links him to both Roger and Rocks – they all seem to use the same technique. What’s even more incredible is that he developed this ability before he was 15 years old! He’s been refining it ever since, and honestly, it’s pretty obvious to me now that he’s the strongest pirate around, even stronger than Luffy. Of course, I fully expect Luffy to eventually become stronger than Shanks, but right now, Shanks definitely has the edge.
