Deacon, the main character, often mumbles to himself, making him feel more authentic, and his companion, Boozer, struggles to connect with him. Despite following a familiar revenge plot, Ghost of Yotei dedicates enough time to developing Atsu’s connections with other characters and including peaceful moments, which helps move the story’s focus beyond simple vengeance.

As a long-time fan, I really appreciate how Assassin’s Creed Mirage went back to its roots. After the huge, sprawling games like Odyssey and Valhalla, this one feels much more focused. The world is smaller, and you can finish the main story in about 15 hours, which is perfect! Plus, Basim really feels like a classic thief throughout the game – sneaking around, finding clues, and helping people. And the new Valley of Memory DLC? It’s amazing! It’s a really personal story about Basim trying to find his father and finally get some peace, and honestly, it’s a beautiful and emotional ending to his journey.
