Original Silent Hill 2 Artist Says Bloober Team Made "Correct Choice" for a Particular Boss Fight Design Change

As a die-hard fan of the original Silent Hill series, I’ve been living in the shadows ever since James Sunderland stumbled upon his mysterious love letter back in 2001. So, when I got my hands on the remake of Silent Hill 2, it was like stepping into a nightmare all over again.

On platform X, Masahiro Ito, a team member of Team Silent and the artist behind Silent Hill 1-4 among other games, expressed his thoughts about one of the game’s boss battles and how Bloober made the appropriate decision in altering it from its original form. What Change Did the Silent Hill 2 Original Developer Like From the Remake?

It’s evident that Ito appreciated the creative decision made by Bloober Team, in which they superimposed the figure of the game character, James, entering a door over Angel’s traumatic recollections – an element that gamers will gradually encounter as they progress through the horror game.
