With the launch of Outbound, players can take a relaxing road trip across a vast wilderness in a camper van. You’ll need to craft tools, equipment, and vehicle upgrades to navigate the different areas and overcome challenges. Outbound will be available on PC and Xbox starting May 11th at 7 AM Pacific Time, 10 AM Eastern Time, and 3 PM British Summer Time. Players on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 will be able to play starting May 14th. The reason for the slight delay on Switch and PS5 isn’t clear, though it coincides with the early access launch of Subnautica 2. I checked SteamDB, which is usually pretty accurate when it comes to Steam release times, and it lists when Outbound is coming out. But you know how it is – things can always change at the last minute! If anything gets updated, I’ll make sure to update this post so you guys have the correct info.
Is Outbound Coming to Game Pass?
Good news! Outbound will be available on Xbox Game Pass on May 11th, but only for Game Pass Ultimate members. If you have the Essential or Premium plan, the game will come to your library at a later date. If you can’t wait, you could temporarily upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate, play the game, and then switch back to your current plan.
This May, subscribers can look forward to new games like Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, and Mixtape, offering a diverse range of gaming experiences.
