As a long-time Destiny player and follower of Bungie’s journey, I must admit this news has left me somewhat disheartened. Over the years, I’ve forged friendships with Guardians from all over the galaxy, shared countless victories and defeats, and even shed a tear or two during those emotional story moments.
After the previous round of layoffs at the company, it has been nine months and now, Bungie is reducing its staff by 17%, which equates to letting go of about one-sixth of its studio employees.
