Information about the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter 6 has been disclosed, showcasing gameplay footage of eight crossover skins. From May 20 to June 2, players can purchase shop bundles containing these cosmetics, as well as an in-game event that offers free voice lines, sprays, and a player title in Overwatch 2.
Over the past few gaming seasons, it’s been common for “Overwatch 2” to team up with different brands. Fans were recently taken aback when Blizzard announced a collaboration with “Street Fighter 6,” which occurred less than a month after the “Overwatch 2” and “Gundam Wing” event. This means that Season 16 is unique because it’s the first to include two collaborations with external IPs, and it’s also the first to feature one with a video game outside of Blizzard’s portfolio.
Right before the upcoming event, it has been unveiled that Overwatch 2 will feature gameplay footage of Street Fighter 6 skins within its FPS. A total of eight Overwatch 2 heroes have been reimagined as famous Street Fighter characters, with Ryu becoming Hanzo, Chun-Li transforming into Juno, Cammy taking on the role of Widowmaker, Guile being Soldier: 76, Dhalsim embodying Zenyatta, M. Bison assuming Sigma’s identity, Blanka adopting Winston’s persona, and Juri morphing into Kiriko. A gameplay trailer has been released to display the appearance of these cosmetics in the game. This collaboration with Street Fighter 6 is the largest in Overwatch 2 history, surpassing even the first LE SSERAFIM event, which had six collaborations.

In the world of Overwatch 2, I’ve discovered a cool way to immerse my characters even deeper into the action – by collecting custom intros, poses, and emotes that give them a Street Fighter 6 vibe! Chun-Li feels like she’s really kicking things up a notch with her lightning-fast kicks, Hanzo channels Ryu’s energy with Hadokens and Shoryukens, and Zenyatta unleashes Dhalsim-like Yoga Flames. These Street Fighter nods let me bring more of the classic fighting game flavor to my Overwatch 2 battles.
In the game store for Street Fighter 6, you can buy collaboration skins for each character. You have the option to acquire individual hero bundles or opt for two Mega Bundles: one with Chun-Li Juno, Ryu Hanzo, Dhalsim Zenyatta, M. Bison Sigma, and another with Juri Kiriko, Cammy Widowmaker, Blanka Winston, and Guile Soldier: 76. For dedicated fans, there’s also the Street Fighter 6 Ultra Bundle, which comes with all eight skins and their accompanying cosmetics. The prices won’t be disclosed until they go on sale on May 20, but considering past Overwatch 2 collaboration skins, character bundles should cost around 2800 Overwatch Coins, Mega Bundles approximately 5900, and the Ultra Bundle potentially up to 10,000.
In addition to the debut of the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter collaboration, an in-game event is simultaneously launched and will run until June 2. Players can engage in challenges to obtain themed sprays, voice lines, and a player title from Street Fighter 6, as well as up to 40,000 Battle Pass XP just by playing the game. This exciting crossover between two renowned franchises, appealing to both long-time Street Fighter fans and newcomers alike, should not be missed in Overwatch 2.
