A potential leak about the upcoming hero, Wuyang, for Overwatch 2, seems to have unveiled his complete equipment set and character design for Season 18. Although there might be changes before final release, it’s likely that this Wuyang leak in Overwatch 2 is an accurate representation of the real thing.

Recently, a leak from a trustworthy source has hinted at Wuyang’s abilities in Overwatch 2, offering players an insight into how this hero might be played.

Now, another leak has provided more details to complement the first one, giving us a better understanding of what this hero might be like in Overwatch 2. A user on the Overwatch 2 subreddit allegedly got access to Wuyang’s full equipment and character model through an official Blizzard survey. Although the post and account were removed swiftly, other Overwatch 2 enthusiasts managed to save images of Wuyang’s gear and his model, which they shared in separate Reddit posts. Based on this recent revelation, Wuyang’s main weapon appears to be the Xuanwu Staff. This staff enables him to launch orbs that can be manipulated, and it also features a passive healing ability called Restorative Stream, which can be boosted for stronger effects. His skillset seems to be a blend of abilities from other Overwatch 2 support characters, specifically Zenyatta and Mercy.

Wuyang has two additional abilities: Guardian Wave, an attack that strengthens the healing of teammates while damaging and pushing back enemies, and Rushing Torrent, which allows him to surf on waves to boost his speed and jump height. His ultimate is Tidal Blast, a protective barrier made of water that lasts for a short time before exploding, healing the protected target and knocking down nearby adversaries.
