As a seasoned Overwatch 2 player with countless hours under my belt, I must say, that Junker Queen play against Roadhog on Ilios was nothing short of brilliant! Ilios has always been a map where the stakes are high and the action is intense, but this clip takes it to a whole new level.

Reddit user Korvettekapitan recently posted a video showcasing their gameplay in Overwatch 2 as Junker Queen. The action starts with Junker Queen departing from her spawn point on the Well section of the Ilios map. After confirming that their teammates are following, they stride confidently down the central lane. Upon reaching the main area featuring the iconic well, Junker Queen uses a mesh fence to spy on the enemy’s movements. She then carefully emerges from cover for a single strike with Jagged Blade, hitting a Roadhog. The gamer retreats behind the wall once more, leading the Overwatch 2 Tank to blunder into the well and meet an untimely end.
This Junker Queen Play Could Be the Perfect Roadhog Counter
In the map of Ilios, Roadhog has historically posed a significant threat because certain areas allow him to fling opponents off using his Chain Hook. Similarly, characters like D.Va, Reinhardt, and Lucio have been known to do the same. With the introduction of Junker Queen in Overwatch 2 Season 1, her Jagged Blade ability functions similarly to Roadhog’s Chain Hook, drawing enemies closer. This combination of her ability and quick movement enabled Korvettekapitan to push the enemy Roadhog into a well during gameplay. Given this, players might want to steer clear of Junker Queen in the central part of Ilios during future matches to avoid falling victim to her powerful pull.
