Overwatch 2 Reveals New Mythic Skin for Junkrat

Okay, so Overwatch 2 just dropped a new Mythic skin, and it’s for Junkrat! It’s called Cyber Fuel Junkrat, and honestly, it turns him into this super cool cyberpunk demolitions expert. It’s the second Mythic skin for Season 19, and you can grab it in four tiers if you’ve been saving up – it’ll cost you 80 Mythic Prisms total.

With the launch of Season 19, Overwatch 2 introduced a new Mythic hero skin – Divine Druid Lifeweaver. But for the first time ever, the game announced it would release a second Mythic skin, Cyber Fuel Junkrat, with its mid-season update.

Overwatch 2 Season 19 Mythic Cyber Fuel Junkrat

Okay, so Season 19 of Overwatch 2 is hitting its stride, and they just dropped this awesome new skin! It’s called Cyber Fuel Junkrat, and seriously, it looks like it walked right out of Cyberpunk 2077. Think super vibrant colors, neon graffiti, and a really futuristic vibe – it even reminds me of Hazard and the Phreaks in Overwatch 2. The coolest part? If you unlock the whole skin, you can switch on these special effects that totally change his look. It makes him glow bright purple and covers his face with this crazy holographic skull mask – it’s pretty intense! You can grab it in the Mythic Shop now that the mid-Season 19 update is live.

This Mythic skin for Overwatch 2 was created to work with the game’s new unlock system. When you first unlock it, you get the main skin along with unique visual and sound effects. The second unlock lets you choose from three different designs for Junkrat’s ultimate ability, the RIP-Tire. Then, the third tier adds red and blue color schemes to the original green. Finally, the last unlock adds special effects that really make the skin shine. After unlocking everything, you can buy Gilded or Iridescent versions to customize it even further.

Fans are calling this new Mythic hero skin the best one yet, praising its amazing special effects and visuals. Some are even regretting buying the previous Divine Druid Lifeweaver skin, wishing they’d waited for this Junkrat skin instead. Hopefully, future skins for Overwatch 2 will be just as impressive.

The new Mythic skin is making the problem of earning enough Mythic Prisms even worse. To get all three recent Mythic cosmetics – Divine Druid Lifeweaver, Cyber Fuel Junkrat, and Spirit Keeper Kiriko – players need a total of 240 Mythic Prisms. It’s unclear if this will become the standard, but since the Premium Battle Pass only offers 80 Prisms per season, players will have even more difficulty affording everything they want.
