These rewards are available from September 16th to October 8th. Wuyang is the first new support hero added to Overwatch 2 in two years, arriving with the start of Season 18.
To celebrate big updates and keep players interested, *Overwatch 2* frequently offers rewards through Twitch Drops. Recently, the game launched Season 18 with significant changes, and Twitch Drops were available to mark the occasion. These changes included a revamped hero progression system, the addition of mouse and keyboard support on consoles, a reset of player ranks, and a new skill rating system. The update also added Tracer as a playable character in Stadium mode, providing a new experience for fans.
How to Get Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops
To celebrate the arrival of Wuyang, *Overwatch 2* is hosting a special event on Twitch where you can earn free cosmetic items inspired by Chinese culture. Starting September 16th, watch *Overwatch 2* streams to unlock rewards like sprays, name cards, charms, and even Loot Boxes. You’ll need to watch a total of 13 hours of streams before October 8th to get everything!

- Watch any Overwatch 2 Twitch streamer with Drops enabled, Sept 16 – Oct 8 to earn the following rewards:
- 1 Hour: “Mala Mania” Spray
- 3 Hours: “Seeking Water’s Way” Name Card
- 5 Hours: “Panda Hugger” Name Card
- 8 Hours: “Happy Panda” Charm
- 10 Hours: Loot Box
- 13 Hours: Epic Loot Box
- Claim rewards from the Twitch Drops Inventory. They will be sent to player accounts via in-game mail.
To celebrate a new Twitch promotion, *Overwatch 2* is teaming up with *Persona 5* to release five unique legendary skins on September 16th. A highlight is a special skin transforming Wuyang into Joker, a popular character from *Persona 5*. Since Wuyang is a newer hero, he doesn’t have as many cosmetic options as others, but these events are a great way to expand his collection.
September 16th marks the end of both the “Play Like Luka” and Summer Games 2025 events in *Overwatch 2*. Players should finish any remaining challenges and collect their rewards before Blizzard releases new content.
