In “Overwatch 2,” the much-anticipated Season 16 begins on April 22, offering a fresh wave of content for the first-person shooter game. The highlight of this update includes the introduction of the Stadium game mode, a thrilling best-of-seven battle where players can buy special items and enhance their powers between each round. Additionally, Season 16 introduces Freja, a swift hero with high damage capabilities, to join the roster.
Prior to its upcoming update, a trailer for Overwatch 2 has surfaced, highlighting Season 16 features and beyond. An abundance of fresh skins is expected in Overwatch 2, featuring a series of Dokiwatch magical girl skins. The Mythic Heart of Hope Juno and Mercy’s Mythic Merciful Magitech weapon serve as the foundation for these skins, accompanied by magical girl cosmetics for Brigitte, Widowmaker, Kiriko, Freja, and D.Va. Additional skins can be obtained through the Battle Pass and shop, such as demonic rock band skins for Ashe, Illari, Lifeweaver, and Mauga, regal skins for Mercy, Genji, Hanzo, Venture, Lifeweaver, and Ana, and the new Iridescent Aspects for every Overwatch 2 Mythic skin.
