As a dedicated Overwatch 2 gamer, I’m thrilled to announce that Season 18 has just dropped! That means it’s time to tune in and grab some fresh in-game loot on Twitch. This season brings a regular and Epic Loot Box, not to mention an awesome Luka Doncic-inspired spray. If you watch a total of seven hours of Overwatch 2 on Twitch before September 15, you can snag these goodies without needing to fire up the game at all!
As I dive into Season 18 of Overwatch 2, I’m blown away by the flood of thrilling additions! The Progression 2.0 system and unranked Quick Play Stadium have me pumped. Plus, a refresh on Perks and an exciting new support hero named Wuyang make this one of the most significant updates for Overwatch 2 yet. It’s like the developers went all out to keep gamers like me engaged!
How to Get Overwatch 2 Season 18 Twitch Drops
Absolutely, an Overwatch 2 season wouldn’t be whole without the introduction of new Twitch Drops! From now until September 15, viewers watching up to seven hours of any streamer in the Overwatch 2 category can earn two complimentary Loot Boxes, one being Epic. Additionally, a Spray inspired by Luka Doncic, the Los Angeles Lakers point guard and enthusiastic Overwatch 2 player, will also be included. Unlike many Twitch Drop campaigns, fans will have three weeks to collect these free gifts.

- Connect one’s Twitch and Battle.net accounts
- Watch any Overwatch 2 streamers on Twitch from now through September 15, 11:58 PM PT to earn the following rewards:
- 1 Hour: Pocket Sevens Spray
- 3 hours: Loot Box
- 7 hours: Epic Loot Box
- Once complete, claim rewards from the Twitch Drops inventory
- Loot Boxes will automatically appear in Overwatch 2
During the “Play Like Luka” special in-game event on Twitch, gamers stand a chance to secure up to 77 free Overwatch 2 Loot Boxes, along with a unique Player Title and Weapon Charm, simply by participating. By doing so, they can collect approximately 90 Loot Boxes during the first three weeks of Season 18, including the ones earned from Twitch Drops and regular Overwatch 2 loot boxes.

Starting now until September 9th, Overwatch 2 has revived the popular Cowboy Bebop event. This marks the first time an external IP collaboration has returned. Fans can either buy the Cowboy Bebop character skins from the shop or collect Battle Pass experience and cosmetics from the original event by completing specific tasks, such as earning Ein’s Wrecking Ball skin. Later in the season, Overwatch 2 will team up with Persona 5, offering new collaboration skins, challenges, and more exciting content for players to enjoy.
