Just under a month following its launch, Blizzard declared that Jared Neuss had joined the Overwatch 2 team as the new sequel’s executive producer. Known for his role as a senior producer in Halo 5: Guardians and Destiny 2, Neuss spent four years at Riot Games, where he served as a production manager for League of Legends and directed its unnamed MMO project.

Currently, Neuss is back at one of the game studios that propelled his successful career, as he announced on LinkedIn. In a post, the developer shared his excitement about the recent updates for Overwatch 2, such as Season 15’s Perks and the upcoming Stadium game mode, which were unveiled during their Spotlight event. However, Neuss also disclosed that he departed from Overwatch 2 on the same day and is now rejoining Riot Games in a senior director role for Valorant, their own hero shooter.
