Initially, only 17 out of 43 characters from Overwatch 2 will be playable at Stadium’s launch to ensure balance and maintain a manageable mental workload. However, more characters are planned to join the Stadium lineup with each season, eventually bringing the roster up to speed. Keller even hinted that Freja, the damage hero set for Season 16, might appear sooner than expected.
