Most games of this type have at least a ‘good’ and ‘bad’ ending, but nowadays they often feature multiple endings that aren’t simply good or bad. Even with these choices, open-world RPGs frequently include a particularly bleak and memorable ‘bad’ ending that can stay with players long after they finish the game.
