Approximately four months following the debut of Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerrilla Games disclosed at E3 2017 that a story expansion pack called The Frozen Wilds would be available. This expansion was released in November of the same year. The events of The Frozen Wilds occur after Aloy initially explores territories beyond Nora, as depicted in the quest “A Seeker at the Gates,” but prior to the pivotal Battle of the Alight. In this extension, Aloy journeys to a northern mountain region called the Cut, inhabited by the Banuk, a tribe with shamanistic beliefs.

In the game “Oblivion Remastered,” players receive a free armored steed upon leaving the sewer tutorial and entering the main world. To equip this horse with additional armor, though, they must return to Snak gra-Bura at the Chestnut Handy Stables, which is located west of the Imperial City.

In Bethesda RPGs, developer rooms aren’t unusual, but the testing room in Oblivion Remastered stands out because it houses NPC characters for testing the persuasion and disposition systems. One such NPC is voiced by Todd Howard, a key figure at Bethesda, who recorded dialogue lines during development. Interestingly, Todd Howard’s character persists in the remastered version of Oblivion, allowing players to enjoy an updated version of this unique NPC.

In this unique anime universe, defeat is not an impasse—it’s what makes the heroic endeavors appear more courageous, and the infrequent triumphs feel truly epic.
