Red Hulk Almost Had Guns in New Movie

In “Captain America: A Fresh Era,” Harrison Ford’s character, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, stepped onto the scene, following the late William Hurt. Ross is a former U.S. general who ascends to the presidency before he acquires the mighty Red Hulk powers due to Tim Blake Nelson’s Samuel Sterns administering him gamma-radiated pills. In a series of confrontations, Ross and Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson face off on the White House roof and the streets of Washington D.C. Several months after its release, there remains discontent among fans towards Marvel Studios for revealing Red Hulk in the marketing for “Captain America: A Fresh Era,” a decision perceived as potentially harmful to the film’s commercial success.
