Excitedly gearing up for a thrilling adventure in 2025, I’m looking forward to diving into Wildgate on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC! This team-based game pits you and your crew of four against both player versus player (PvP) and player versus environment (PvE) challenges. The objective? Journey into the mysterious expanse known as The Reach, retrieve the Artifact, and make a hasty exit through the Wildgate. Buckle up for an action-packed journey!

It’s anticipated that additional titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 could be unveiled during the approaching Nintendo Direct broadcast on April 2. This event may also disclose details such as the release date of the Nintendo Switch 2, which some rumors suggest is either June or even May. Speculation among fans points towards potential launch games like an updated version of Zelda, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, new Mario and Metroid titles. There’s also been chatter online about the possible retail price of the Nintendo Switch 2, with some speculating it could be around $400 or $500.

A year ago, with whispers and buzz filling the gaming community, Microsoft made it official – they’re porting four of their exclusive games to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. As a gamer, I can hardly wait!

Before the Dreamhaven exhibition, I had the chance to play “Wildgate” for a few hours, and despite the premise appearing familiar (it’s an artifact from an old space civilization), “Wildgate” is definitely enjoyable. Although players will uncover more lore as they progress through the game, given that the game world is thoroughly developed from its history to why we are competing for the artifact, my focus in this preview is on gameplay. Basically, each game consists of five teams, with each team comprising four players. Together, they explore a mystifying part of space called The Reach in search of The Artifact. Essentially, it’s a PvEvP experience where other teams and the environment create constant challenges for a group to triumph over and win by any means possible.

Just like its predecessors in the series, the upcoming game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, will showcase an extensive lineup of playable skateboarders, many of whom are based on real-world individuals. Some familiar faces from the original Pro Skater 3 and 4, like Bucky Lasek and Rodney Mullen, will return, but fresh talents such as Yuto Horigome and Chloe Covell will make their series debut. Although Activision hasn’t unveiled the complete roster for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 yet, there are whispers that it may have an unexpected ace up its sleeve, as suggested by some recent speculations.

In the remake of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, it’s only fitting to include some veteran actors along with the newcomers. Although fans would be thrilled to have Faith Lehane (Eliza Dushku) and Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan) back, there’s one character whose return could truly elevate the Buffy The Vampire Slayer reboot.

As a dedicated fan, I must admit it’s been quite a journey for the creators of “Tales of the Shire.” Announced in 2023, the game initially had a planned release in 2024, but that timeline shifted twice – first to March 2025, then again to July. Alongside these delays, the studio responsible for its creation, Private Division, underwent significant changes. They transitioned from being under Take-Two Interactive to a new company managed by former Annapurna Interactive staff. Amidst all these challenges, “Tales of the Shire” is now scheduled for release on July 29th. As that date edges closer, Private Division continues to unveil exciting details about what fans can anticipate from this eagerly awaited title.

Monarchs are often the most powerful figures in the world of Solo Leveling, but surprisingly, Jin-Woo managed to vanquish one of them. Could this be just a testament to how formidable Jin-Woo truly is?

Towards the closing of the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, as the Title Update 2 text appeared, we were treated to aquatic noises and distinct clawed footsteps, along with a hint of scales in the air. These indications seem to point towards the return of Lagiacrus, a monster that many hunters have been eagerly anticipating battling once more for quite some time.
