On March 28, 2025, the much-anticipated “Pokemon TCG Pocket” game mode was finally released. Ever since it made its debut towards the end of October 2024, players have had the chance to prove their card-battling mettle against each other in one-on-one battles. As I stand by, eagerly watching the unfolding events, I’m privy to a piece of news that might ease the hearts of many enthusiasts: an official announcement is imminent, set to follow the grand finale of this captivating season two.

Since its premiere in July 2019, “The Boys” has undeniably emerged as Amazon Prime Video’s biggest triumph. The fifth and final season of this original series is scheduled for release in 2026. In January 2025, Nintendo introduced the Switch 2 by releasing a trailer that showcased its design and a new version of Mario Kart being developed for it. The video hinted at the capabilities of the console without providing detailed information. Fortunately, we’re almost there to learn more about the upcoming Switch 2.

In this fresh take on Minecraft, players will encounter a new character called the Happy Ghast – a friendly-looking version of the usual Nether mob that gives players a scare. The Happy Ghast materializes when a Ghastling matures into a harmless creature that floats aimlessly. Players carrying snowballs can attract this creature to follow them, while those with harnesses will see it approach. This allows up to four players to traverse various Minecraft biomes together, enhancing the already enjoyable exploration aspect of the game. A creative player has even suggested an improvement – perhaps adding more interactive elements or abilities to make the Happy Ghast experience even more engaging.

It is fortunate that all his hard work and sacrifices in his hunter career, which included countless moments of blood, sweat, and tears, eventually led to him successfully reuniting with his mother.

In the HBO series “The Last of Us,” Ramsey’s character, Ellie, is a key figure due to her immunity to the Cordyceps infection, which could hold the secret to a potential cure. Ramsey’s portrayal of Ellie was highly acclaimed during the first season as it beautifully encapsulated Ellie’s emotional complexity, resilience, and vulnerability. While Ramsey’s performance was distinct, it remained faithful to the essence of the video game character. However, some viewers have expressed apprehension about Ramsey’s appearance in Season 2 because a five-year time gap exists between the original game (2013) and its sequel (2020), so Ellie should appear slightly older in the second season.

Amazon’s Prime Video holds an intriguing position in the realm of streaming services. It doesn’t occupy the highest spot on Amazon’s list of priorities—much like Apple TV+ within Apple’s scope—but it has successfully established a unique space for itself when compared to heavyweights such as Netflix and Disney+.

Shows like “The Boys” and “Fallout” are among its major successes, while productions such as “The Rings of Power” and “The Wheel of Time,” although less successful in terms of viewership but expensive, also make up part of its offerings. Amazon has consistently shown a willingness to invest heavily in grand productions, with the 2023 series “Citadel” being a prime example. Despite only having six episodes, this series reportedly cost a staggering $300 million to produce.

Despite a relatively low view count, Amazon was content with the outcome of “Citadel,” approving a second season and greenlighting multiple spinoff series. However, the future has become rather unclear for the “Citadel” franchise as a whole.

In most Pokémon games, players usually come up with a unique name for their characters at the start of a new game. Many others opt to use their real names instead. Interestingly, some players might not know that every main character in the Pokémon franchise has an established name. This tradition goes back to the first generation of the series. Initially, the playable characters and rivals were named after their respective games, as evidenced by Red being the protagonist in the Gen 1 games and Blue serving as the player’s rival. This naming trend persisted with only minor modifications in the Pokémon Adventures comic series, but was altered in the core-series games starting from Generation 2 onwards.
