Stardew Valley has consistently improved and gained popularity since it first came out in early 2016. It’s considered one of the best farming simulation games ever made, boasting an average score of 90 on OpenCritic and a 99% positive recommendation rate. As of June 2025, Stardew Valley also holds the record for the highest-rated indie game on Steam.

Currently, the top-rated new PS5 game of 2025 is Shujinkou, a role-playing game that also helps you learn Japanese. However, it’s worth noting that Shujinkou only has 10 reviews at the moment, so its score is likely to change. If we exclude that title, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads the pack with an excellent overall rating of 92. Following closely behind are Hollow Knight: Silksong and Split Fiction, both with a score of 91, then Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, each scoring 90.
For the past 20 years, Naughty Dog has worked solely on its two biggest IPs, The Last of Us and Uncharted. The two series are beloved by the majority of gamers, but many have been eager to see Naughty Dog put its skills toward something new. Thankfully, the community’s prayers were answered when Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was revealed at the Game Awards 2024 back in December. The brand-new, science fiction IP from Naughty Dog stars Tati Gabrielle as Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter who finds herself stranded on a remote planet while hunting down a crime syndicate known as the “Five Aces.”
Considering how fierce the competition was, the Roger Pirates had to be one step ahead. Luckily, nearly all of their crew were incredibly strong. During the events in Elbaf, One Piece fans witnessed the impressive power of Scopper Gaban. Despite his age, he easily defeated the Holy Knights. It’s clear that Gaban remains one of the top fighters, but a handful of characters are even more powerful.
