I was so excited to hear about the new animated project from Kojima Productions at their 10th anniversary event! It’s called *Death Stranding: Mosquito* for now, and it’s a really intriguing step for the *Death Stranding* universe. Hideo Kojima is producing, which is awesome, and Hiroshi Miyamoto from ABC Animation is directing. The script is being written by Aaron Guzikowski, who’s done *Raised by Wolves* and *Prisoners* – seriously great stuff! They’re calling it *Mosquito* for now, but knowing Kojima and how much meaning he puts into names, I have a feeling that title is a big clue about the main character and the story. It’s definitely got me thinking!

Many new games are in development that let players experience the wonder of space. Whether it’s through story-focused adventures or realistic simulations, these games will focus on the core appeal of space: huge galaxies, strange planets, traveling between stars, and the challenge of surviving in a hostile environment. The next wave of space exploration games promises to be both incredibly creative and impressively ambitious.

The initial update for *Hollow Knight: Silksong* released on September 12th, addressing some issues and making battles against bosses like Moorwing and Silent Splinter a bit easier. A second update followed on September 21st, fixing several bugs – including a rare glitch where the boss Shrine Guardian Seth would sometimes move outside the battle area. The developers at Team Cherry are still refining *Silksong* to improve the player experience, and these changes might not be immediately obvious to everyone.

As a lifelong cinema and gaming fan, I remember hearing about Take-Two Interactive way back in ’93. They initially made a name for themselves with those full-motion video games, but things *really* took off when the first *Grand Theft Auto* came out in ’98. Even though *GTA 6* is now slated for 2026, the excitement hasn’t died down at all – it’s still incredibly high! Supergiant Games revealed *Hades 2* at The Game Awards in December 2022, over two years after the original *Hades* fully launched. The sequel then became available to play as a full release on September 25, 2025.

The Pokémon Company announced on September 12th that shiny versions of the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon will be available for a limited time. This marks the first official opportunity for players to obtain these shiny Pokémon legally. Shiny Koraidon is available for players of *Pokémon Violet*, and shiny Miraidon is available for *Pokémon Scarlet* trainers. The distribution is happening at select retailers in countries like the US (GameStop), Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (EB Games), and in Japan through approved retailers. At GameStop, they’re giving out printed cards with codes to redeem in *Pokémon Scarlet* and *Pokémon Violet* while supplies last.
